My family and I had a great experience at Lowell general hospital. The labor and delivery ward is top notch. The nurses there really care, I gave birth to my son and I had amazing nurses especially one named Maria. She was an angel. They did everything they could to make me feel comfortable and I felt very supported there. The labor and delivery room is big and beautiful. Then on the mother and baby floor the rooms are smaller but still nice. We ordered food from their kitchen service and it was okay tasting. The people from lactation services helped me so much with breastfeeding and gave so many tips. On our discharge day everyone wished us good luck and we definitely felt the genuine niceness of the stuff there. If your thinking about giving birth here, you should itu2019s a positive place!

My mom needed to go to the ER and a friend suggested we go to Lowell. It was easy to get to, clean, bright, and very organized. We had immediate attention from a nurse and doctor. They got Mom into a room within 1.5 hours and she continued to receive such attentive care! Also modern equipment that made Mom's struggles easy to deal with. One admitted, Mom had dedicated nurses (day/night) that give me thorough updates. Her case manager was kind and explained everything we needed to do. We had a great experience

An Unforgettable Experience at Lowell General - Circle Health - Exceptional Care from Start to Finish! Our baby was born at Lowell General Hospital in March, and we truly could not have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, the OB-GYN team and the entire staff made us feel safe, supported, and genuinely cared for during one of the most important moments of our lives.A very special thank you to the amazing Docs and nurses in the labor & delivery and infant unitsu2014each one of them brought kindness, professionalism, and reassurance throughout the entire process. Their dedication and attentiveness made us feel like we were in the best hands possible. We want to give a heartfelt shout-out to Nurse Nancy, who was with us during labor. She was nothing short of incredible. Her calm presence, compassionate support, and gentle encouragement helped me through some of the most intense moments with confidence and comfort. Nancy went above and beyond to ensure both baby and I were safe, and weu2019ll never forget her care. The postpartum care was equally impressiveu2014the infant unit nurses were kind, informative, and always available to help us as new parents navigating those first precious hours and days. Second time I've been here, and second time I didn't see a doctor. This will be the last time.I got scheduled for a renal ultrasound by appointment. They are going to scan my bladder to see if I have an issue with urinating. I was told to drink 32 ounces of water 1 hour and 15 minutes prior to the appointment. I showed up and waited 20 minutes, never saw a doctor. I was told to wait my turn. I'm sorry, then why did I make an appointment? This wasn't a walk-in! I couldn't hold it anymore and left. They have a patient advocate line you can call, but it goes to a voicemail. They don't care. Just look at all the 1-star reviews across Google. Go anywhere but here.EDIT: See the response below. I did contact their patient relations department on the day this happened. After the review went up, they left me a voicemail. They just wrote off what happened and told me the usual: I understand, it's unfortunate, these things happen, you can reschedule. A complete dismissal. I never even got the name of the doctor that would have seen me, so there is a complete lack of accountability in this organization from top to bottom.

Had a great experience at LGH last week having my kidney removed. Not sure about all these negative comments here, but every single person that I came into contact with was great. Especially the 2 nurses that cared for me during the first 48 hours of my recovery - Alysa and Melissa. Simply outstanding care. If youu2019ve never had a kidney removed, let me tell you it hurts. But everyone from the nurses to the janitorial staff was kind and considerate. Great job!
