My daughter accidentally cut herself with scissors. We went to nfld urgent care. They say they are seen by urgency but 3 ppl ahead of us had colds or something, def not bleeding. When we got in -a male doctor grabbed her hand without saying a word, pushed the wound on her Palm(which I get.. maybe check for bleeding or infection) but then he yanked on the fat that was popping out. I put her under my arm, she was fighting back tears. He was nicer towards the end, he wrapped it and explained what he did. Doesnu2019t mean it was ok to do that to a little girl. Maybe he has a big world load, Iu2019m not sure. Maybe they need to hire more staff?

I arrived on a Sunday at 11:00, they close at 3:30. One family in the waiting room. I was turned away because they were at their capacity for the day. That caught me completely off guard. I drive quite a distance because my family uses the Northfield Clinic, and I like to keep all medical activity in the same system. I have been here before and have actually had the opportunity to see a medical provider, and they are good at diagnosing and prescribing medicine for my kids. I think I am just disappointed that I was turned away with a sick kid four and a half hours before they closed. If they take reservations, I have no idea, but it feels like that defeats the purpose of urgent care. I would feel like I was wasting time and resources going to the ER for an ear infection. Luckily, I was able to get to the Lakeville location an hour before they closed and was seen very quickly. Makes no sense.

The online check in save your place tool is ridiculous if the office doesnu2019t know how to use it. Seen there was an hour wait time at 4pm so we fill it out and get a text confirmation that we are checked in and to arrive at 5pm. We get another text at 445 reminding us to head to the clinic as we are up next soon. We get there and are told they will now check us in but itu2019ll be another hour. We left and get a call itu2019s our turn at 615 pm. Even heard the employee tell another patient who was frustrated with the same issue that they havenu2019t figured out how to use it properly yet. Probably train the employees how to use the system before rolling it out and letting them just figure it out as they go.

Their systems need work. On line check in didnu2019t send a verification code. Tried twice but nothing. Website said 40 minute wait. When I arrived (5 minutes after checking website) they were full for the day. I mentioned the code issue and was told they donu2019t send codes once theyu2019re full. Iu2019m no IT expert but it seems to me if you can stop sending codes and have a u201cwait timeu201d on your website, you can put up a notice when you are no longer able to see people. They also werenu2019t able to tell me if anyone else nearby did strep tests. Pro tip: CUB pharmacy does and they were great.

Was prescribed medication that wasnu2019t even the proper treatment, and also got the incorrect diagnosis. They took no time to genuinely speak to me and belittled me when I tried mentioning arising issues. I ended up having to go to the hospital shortly after my visit where they were shocked of my medication prescribed and immediately had to change course of action for me to get my throat to open up.
