Itu2019s clear this company doesnu2019t invest in its office administration function. The people managing scheduling, billing, and prescription refills are uninformed and underprepared for their role. I feel really bad about the amount of work youu2019ve offloaded onto pharmacists and other people who reap the repercussions of your mismanaged office practices. Itu2019s easy to say u201cdonu2019t give them your businessu201d, but they also canu2019t get through a contract negotiation with Aetna so weu2019ll all be forced to a different provider anyway. Take the leap now and stop using IHA for ANY medical services.nnOh also St Joeu2019s almost killed my husband, i had to remove him against medical advice after a u201cdoctoru201d gave him IV meds that resulted in him getting an organ transplant due to failure from her treatment of him at that facility. So we canu2019t get our meds, they canu2019t bill or schedule anything correctly, and their GI staff at St Joseph should fear the day they lose their practice to malpractice suits. Terrible company, terrible staff, horrible office.

The front office staff seems to care about their jobs. The nursing staff have a desire to do the work. There may be some doctors who actually practice medicine and care about their patients but most just push pills, and not well. I have had to repeatedly call for refills to be sent to the pharmacy and then they don't send all of them. The pharmacy has noticed this and have suggested I seek medical care elsewhere too. They haven't sent refills for heart or asthma medication or not all the refills needed on multiple occasions. Appointments are difficult to get and there is frequent turnover of medical staff.

My Doctor said I needed the new Shringritz shot for shingles so I had them give me the shots. Now IHA is billing me $414. They say that Medicare only pays a pharmacy for this, not IHA so I have to pay $414 for a shot that was free at any drug store. They knew this before they gave me the shot. IHA says I signed a form but this is the same form everyone signs when you visit them. IHA is a thief and completely dishonest. Stay as far away from as you can. Use only Dr.u2019s that are NOT Affiliated with IHA

I wish Iu2019d seen reviews here sooner. Iu2019ve had so many issues with IHA. The most painful is that after we moved to Michigan I did not realize my husband was not having the yearly PSA blood test he always had In Nebraska. He had been told they no longer do PSA over 75. When I found out, I flipped out and demanded one for him and now we are fighting aggressive prostate cancer. If only it would have been caught earlier it wouldnu2019t have left the capsule and his outcome and treatment would have been so much better. When I confronted the doctor he said he was happy my husband had some one like me to look out for him. And when I said well thanks for nothing, he chuckled. I feel I was treated as a crazy wife and there was no concern or compassion. Our charts are wrong. Said I was a former cigar smoker and had aortic valve replacement which I had not. I was told if my husband didnu2019t do the Medicare wellness check which is basically a mini mental exam, Medicare would pay for his services. Not true. Twice I scheduled him for a COMPLETE EXAM which our secondary would pay for even though Medicare doesnu2019t and neither time did he get one. No one from the office will call me back. Iu2019m beyond frustrated. Patients are not at all treated as individuals but by statistics.

I received a letter about past due bill of $96. when I called in question they said it was from 2017.nI went in with my daughter in-law while pregnant in 2018 and ask to get the whooping cough shot. I told them I no longer had insurance and was paying cash. I paid $40.60 and went home. Then I got this bill in the mail. So I called back about it, I was told I still owe $60 for my shot. These people need to get it together. You bill someone for a bill from 2017 and canu2019t explain why it took 2 yrs for this to appear in there system and that what I paid the day of the shot was from past due bill. So done with IHA!
