Iu2019ve always had excellent service and care provided at AMD Urgent Care. The staff is friendly, thorough, and very considerate of patient needs. They only take certain insurance - so maybe call and check before you just show up.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! You will waste precious time even trying to come here. I went on Sunday at 8:10 pm and there was a boyish looking person at the front, definitely didnu2019t look like they knew what they were doing. My poor mom was in so much pain and we had already driven, 25 minutes to get to this sorry excuse of an establishment. They said very smugly that no they will not accept our insurance. So when I begged them to please take her anyway and that I would pay whatever they wanted out of pocket, THEY STILL REFUSED! This has to be illegal and god forbid we had a serious cut or something because they would have stood there and still denied us. Idk how that little boy in black scrubs or the elderly senior lady that had been sitting in the back on her lazy ass, that only came to the front to get a piece of the u201cdramau201d sleep at night. They just didnu2019t want to do their jobs. And I cannot wait until the same exact thing happens to these people. If you value your life do not go here. I will be making all the calls I can for this place to get shut down. Down right disgusting. NO COMPASSION OR CARE. Just greedy and glutinous. Should be shut down. And Iu2019m going to see to it that it does. Most disrespectful and disgusting way I have ever been treated. All from u201cmedical professionals u201cEdit: they are also embellishing the story to falsify how poorly they treat people. We were out that door within seconds and they are harassing my mother through text messages arguing and lying, saying we were asked to leave. Rest assured, we got told absolute bull about insurance, exchanged words AS I was walking out the door. NOBODY came and told me to leave or said a word. Keep on with the defamation though.At the end of the day if you care about people you take care of them, she couldnu2019t breathe and had her lungs CLOSING and they were all too happy to turn us away while we were begging for help.

Don't go to AMD Urgent Card in Fenton! They don't tell you the insane amount they are charging to you until you get the surprise bill for $350 (because you are a new patient 60 minutes, even though we were there less than 30 minutes - I would assume if you're coming there for the urgent care service then you are a new patient). I do understand that they gave us every test under the sun ($$), but there needs to be transparency to the patient on all of these costs. The real kicker is that not only did I go, but my son was seen too AND I still wasn't better so went to my PCP within the week to actually get better. I will not be back! Stay clear, unless you do not have a high deductible insurance plan.

They will not treat you if you don't have insurance.I was there twice for myself and my son and paid out of pocket no problem for medical services. I even signed paperwork to be seen. Today, they refused to see my daughter and was incredibly rude, saying the person who allowed me to pay to be seen was not supposed to do that. And they accused me of trying to commit insurance fraud by charging my insurance for it AFTER I pay. Which makes no sense. I was very upset and confused and not treated with compassion or care.Which is a shame because the doctors are good.

I walked in with pretty severe neck/shoulder pain. I was in the exam room within two minutes, and was given an injection within another 5 minutes that gave me a lot of relief!! Staff was super nice
