I admitted myself to the ER at Lodi Memorial Adventist Hospital after taking a bad fall on my kitchen floor. The staff there was very pleasant and efficient. After registering, I waited about 30 minutes, then was moved to another section of the Emergency department. Once there I waited about 60 minutes to be seen by a provider. The hospital and seating areas were very clean and well maintained. The only thing that bothered me were screaming toddlers in the waiting area. After the provider examined me, he sent me to the x-ray department for x-rays of my hip and leg. The x-ray department staff were professional and efficient. I waited maybe five minutes max.At that point, I was told to go back and sit down outside where I was examined. I waited about one hour for my discharge papers and the results of my x-ray.Total time in the emergency department that day was about 2-1/2 hours.

I have worked in healthcare and healthcare education for more than 20 years. I had the unfortunate displeasure to be a patient into he ER twice and I have never seen such terrible patient care and poor quality. The staff was overall polite but extremely overworked and more concerned with booting people out than helping them. I was brought in by ambulance, stripped and given an Iv. I was in intense pain was the. Told that they had too many people coming on and they stood me up despite that fact that I could barely move and had me walk out and wait in the waiting room, half naked and holding my own IV. The ED waiting room was jammed packed and chaotic. A family who was in a major car accident was brought in by ambulance, some covered with blood was also placed in the waiting room.a young female child was crying and complaining of abdominal alpain and was cradling her belly. The nurse completely ignore the child and the mothers concerns. I stopped the nurse and asked why she thought it was okay to ignore this and not even do a palpation or ultrasound to check for internal bleeding, a potential life threatening injury. The nurse replied with, she's probably okay, I have to go. Second time I came in to the ER I had an elevated blood pressure that was boarding a hypertensive crisis and was seen by an incompetent PA who had insane views on modern medicine and who truly did not listen to me or my concerns and was extremely dismissive. I'm back in the ED with a family member who should be in the room being evaluated and treated because he potentially could have a stroke or heart attack with his symptoms and be given an antihypertensive emergency medicine or antagonist or something instead of being told we are really busy and we will call him when we have a doctor. The quality of care here is abysmal and has left me with zero faith that their employees still care about patients or proving quality care. I would not trust my life in the hands of this hospital. I want to add one more thing. When we were taken back to triage, the gurney had dirty mattress cover with hair and BLOOD on it. When we told the staff member theystill tried to get my family member to lay down on it and then acted like we were being fussy asking to remove it. They didn't even wipe the mattress down after they simply pulled the bedsheet back. How can a nurse have such a disregard for a sepsis in trying to prevent contamination and the spread of disease? Is beyond my comprehension as a healthcare worker and patient.

Nurse Drew was very kind and also very well spoken. I appreciate nurses who understands your concerns, because Iu2019ve had experience with other nurses there that made me feel stupid for coming to the hospital. But Nurse Drew, I appreciate his kindness and care. Also Dr Mohammad was great, heu2019s seen my son twice and both times he made sure my son was taken care of. He was very patient with my many questions and I appreciate that!

I went in for a gallbladder surgery. When it was time to prep for the surgery, the nurse was very friendly. Told me what I need to do and left me to do it. Once I was all set, I sat on the bed surgical nurse came in I believe the anesthesiologist came in person was going to intubate me was coming in. Everyone was very professional and kind roll me down to the operating room. My doctor was there first time I saw her that morning. Everything was set for me to go when I was on the table and thatu2019s the last I remember of anything. Next thing I know I am waking up in recovery. I get dressed and then they wheel me out to the front circle to be picked up by my wife. Everyone was polite, kind very professional now the healing begins.
