My daughter and I have been here a few times and Iu2019ve always had a pleasant experience; kind and quick. Today I went in and was seen by Crystal and she was so kind, helpful and empathetic. We need more people like her in healthcare. She went above and beyond to get me the resources I needed to get to feeling better!! Couldnu2019t be more appreciative.

I took my mom to Cross Lanes CAMC urgent care and it was the worst experience we have ever had with a healthcare provider. My mother is 81 years old and had been feeling very bad for the last week. The lady at the front desk was very polite and kind. We were then put in a room and seen by Derek Lester, Nurse Practitioner. He came in the room and did not do any type of examination on my mother. He stood against the wall and never got near her. She came in with chills, shaking, nausea and a bad headache. As a Nurse Practitioner myself, we are trained to examine the whole patient no matter their chief complaint but he never laid hands on her to even try to diagnose her. We ask him if he could do some labs to check her to make sure she didn't have an infection in which he refused and said he doesn't do that. Not only was he not caring he was very rude and arrogant. He has no empathy for the human race and should not be employed as a healthcare provider. He should not be working with the public in any manner. My mother was very ill and did not feel like going to see a provider and then she had this type of experience. A total of 3 members of my family have been seen as a patient of his at the Crosslanes urgent care and their experiences have been very similar.

Was seen on Friday for a spider bite. Possibly. Was fine. Next day started feeling sicker. COVID positive. Absolutely certain that I caught it there as no one is wearing masks on there. I had one on. Didn't help me. People coughing , snotting . They do not clean the waiting room area every few hours and I know they are supposed to. If more cleaning and OSHA precautions were made at this facility , and less lazy nurses sitting up from on their lazy asses, gossiping. Maybe people wouldn't be getting so ill. I called and asked for Paxlovid. Nope they won't give it . They don't call it on. When I clearly caught COVID and FLU A there!!!!!

My wife has been there twice in the last 3 months and didn't get any help.the staff out front were nice, but the nurse practitioner was rude and had a superiority complex. He didn't even look at her. She's been sick for two weeks and needs some relief. Now she has a fever! Shame on them!

I have been visiting from out of town and have needed medical care 4 times in the past 8 months. The first visit was not so great as I saw a physician's assistant who did very little to help me. When I returned a few days later and saw Dr. Claudia Duncan, things completely turned around. I have requested to see her now each time I go in. She is knowledgeable, listens and asks questions, has a great bedside manner, and most importantly, has made my ailment better. The support staff are friendly and helpful. I would definitely consider Dr. Duncan for my primary care physician if she went into her own practice. The only reason I give 4 stars is because of the physician's assistant incident.
