This was my first visit here. Coming in for back pain. Registration lady was nice and fast. Waiting wasn't bad, the nurse that did my vitals was nice but once I got back into room I didn't know who my actual nurse was, nobody came in and introduced themselves but overall the ones I met were ok. They are expanding so hopefully it will get better.

Me and my Fiancu00e9 both have had awful experiences at this hospital. He got charged over $3000 for what was supposed to be a whole bag of fluids he barely got a quarter of that bag because they didnu2019t want to continue to hook him and unhooked him from the IV and wouldnu2019t give him a portable IV pole! Then they dropped his blood they took from him in the trash and then took it out the trash and took it to the lab! They said they think he might have a stomach bug. And when we went up there for my miscarriage they put me and him in a room the Dr. had no idea where to start and then I waited from 11 ou2019clock at night all the way to about 10 the next morning for an ultrasound. They never showed me my ultrasound and never told me a reason I was miscarrying but they told my fiancu00e9 in the hallway. I just found out a few months ago why. We were even told by A NURSE that if we ever had anymore pregnancy issues not to come there I was told that I needed to go to Statesboro or Vidalia. Got charge over $4000 for that visit if I remember correctly. I will never go back to EMC! If I do I will immediately ask to be sent to another hospital!

NO STARS. Was told my deadly cough wasnu2019t a priority, by a nurse(I wish I wouldu2019ve gotten her name), been in this waiting room for 2 hours. I stopped coming to this hospital years ago and made a bad choice today. I will not be back for myself or anyone I care about because these nurses and doctors donu2019t care.

Dr. A is rude and unattaintive towards patients. From the waiting rooms to the bathrooms are kept in unsanitary and filthy conditions. The doctor stated In my country our people learn how to suffer. You Americans are spoiled and pampered too much. Dr. refused to do blood work even though there was a documented history of decreased liver and kidney function. I would rather die on the way to another hospital than get bandaids from this stain on our community.

I was admitted to the behavioral health unit and it is the worst impatient mental facility I have ever been too!! All you do is sit around and watch tv. Itu2019s very obvious that the nurses and staff DO NOT CARE about there patients! If you need help DO NOT GO HERE! I witnessed nurses slam doors in patients faces, they are required to do safety checks every 15 min I was in my room for 3 hours reading and not one person came to check on me. This place needs to be shut down and lawsuits waiting to happen!! If I could give zero stars I would!!!
