My seven day stay at the Mariner hospital in Tavenier, FL was an excellent experience. On vacation, I contracted Corona virus, Rhinovirus & had double pneumonia. The staff attacked my condition, provided care equivalent to the best teaching hospitals in the Philadelphia, PA area (where I reside), and I was able to be discharged on the 7th day. Great, caring treatment by the doctors & nurses!

It took them 2 weeks to call in my prescription, even though my pharmacy requested for refill 3 times. My advice will be to avoid the Baptist east completely.

You cancelled the contract you had with my PCP Dr. Dennis Anciro with out warning or cause. Why are you closing rural clinics? Do people who live in rural area not deserve quality health care or maybe it was because Dr. D isn't a white man maybe it's because he is Filipino. Explain why the CEO makes 3 million a year, that's a hell of a yearly wage. I plan to contact the Kentucky Attorney General about how you do business.

I have had the worse experience within the last 3 months. Here at Baptist Health Paducah, Ky. They ask if there is anyone a patient wants listed and we give them 2 Myself(Daughter of patient) and Her Niece(APNP). However, when I call to confirm times or dates they say they cannot give me information even after bh verbal release form has been signed. They tell me that it doesn't work for every office its all different even though all offices are apart of Baptist Health. Due to my mother's condition she is unable to drive so I have to take her to and from appointments. I check my chart often, but when they call the patient(stroke) to change and they do not remember then that leaves them responsible if they do not make it to the appointment on time. It seems like they are forcing us to get a POA and we do not mind but I am trying to make sure she makes it to every appointment. Please help! Thanks!

Every since Baptist has weaseled their way into Hardin county they have all but destroyed any trace of caring, urgency or respect towards their patients! I don't blame the nurses or doctors as much as the corporate yahoos that think making decisions from a cozy office is a great idea. We used to be able to talk to the offices around here and now we have to deal with people that do not know or care what the local offices schedules are. What would only take me a week or even a few days to get seen now takes a month or longer because of the extreme disorganization... To say this is because of COVID-19 is a disgrace, this is due to horrid management!
