After seeing all of the one stars and this being my first ever surgical procedure I have to say that I was a nervous wreck. This however is not what I experienced. The nurses and staff were all amazing and very attentive. When I awoke from my surgery, one nurse stayed with me while I waited for a room. She was great, telling me about her family and her pets to keep me occupied. Everyone was professional and extremely helpful. This was an experience beyond my expectations. Thank you!

Horrible experience came in with my mom got here at 6:12pm sat in the waiting room for 2 and a half hours got back to the room nurse was very hateful. She has the portal so she looked at her results while we were waiting for them to u201ccome backu201d one of her results came back at 6:30 and the other came back at 8:30pm and nobody has come in to check on her or tell her anything it is now 9:47pm and we havenu2019t heard anything my mother is in extreme pain and these people seem not to even care.nNot to mention this place is absolutely disgusting looks like it hasnu2019t been cleaned in at least three days. Will never come back to this sorry excuse of a hospital again.nnTook her blood then four hours later decided she needed a ct scan so they came back in to put an iv in and the woman collapsed her vein. She has only ever been able to get an iv or blood drawn from that one vein and had never had it collapsed. Out of the all ten people weu2019ve seen there was only 3 nice people.nnUpdate 11:37pm we find out sheu2019s having an appendicitis.

No compassion from nurses. Nurses and doctors aren't on the same page. I've watched them lie about giving my friend medicine after surgery. I've seen and heard nurse verbally abuse her. Watched her choke on tube's in her throat only to yell at her and belittle her. Left her in a bloody pad all day.nUpdate after spending a week in hell she was cleared to go home only to be rushed back 4 hours later with the same exact problem(bowel obstruction). Why send her home instead of properly doing your job. So here's for the start of week 2 and already had a er doctor be completely rude and disrespectful. Got her in a room at 4:30 am and haven't heard from the surgeon since than and it's now 7pm. Anyone that has to come here I suggest secretly keep record of EVERYTHING going on just incase.

I give 1 star because there is no zero star to select! Waited with my son for 6 hours and never got to see a doctor or PA . Signed a paper and left . A waste of 6 hours. There is absolutely no time management! I work in healthcare so I understand things happen, but thereu2019s absolutely no excuse for the time my son and I had to wait! 3 hours in the waiting room and 3 more in the room waiting on a provider. I had to call out of work for my shift that was gonna start a few hours later and still have to make my son an appointment to see his doctor after all that waiting!! CVMC time management is not your friend!!

Trying to figure out how to pay outrageous prices for care I didn't receive is a nightmare. They send you the bill late, then tell you that you have less time to pay it because it's late, then direct you to a site that isn't working to pay it, which you can't make a payment anyway until you contact their office. As someone who has been fortunate to not have to deal with the health care system frequently, I hope this is not the norm. It has been an eye-opening and troubling experience.
