We take our kiddos here and my husband appreciates the prompt service and the time they take listening to his concerns.I took off one star because I had a different experience on the weekend when I took my son. I'm guessing we saw a nurse practitioner. He asked a question but didn't listen to my answer before asking something else. Did he have a fever? Did you even take his temperature? All in the same breath. Of course I took his temperature. My son is 10 and very shy. He tried telling the doctor in his own words how he felt and the doctor didn't let him finish either. If we ever need care during the weekend we will be sure to visit elsewhere. But excellent service during the week!

When I was there a couple of days ago, the staff seemed 0% motivated to work. It took them forever to take me to the back in a moody way and check my vital signs, and even when I was already waiting for the provider in the room, I could hear the staff laughing, yelling, and using foul language at each other. It seems like the nurses working there donu2019t take their job seriously and donu2019t enjoy what they do. Very bad experience and a clear lack of professionalism, thatu2019s the feeling you get being in a clinic like this.

I am writing to formally express my deep concern and dissatisfaction regarding the egregiously inadequate and unprofessional conduct of a medical professional named Teagan, who attended to my wife and me during a recent visit to OC Urgent Care Anaheim 631 S Brookhurst St Ste 101. I hope this letter serves not only as a complaint but also as a call for accountability and improved patient care within your facility. On May 26, my wifeu2014who was nine weeks pregnant at the timeu2014experienced a critical and emotionally distressing situation. We had recently received troubling news from her OBGYN/ Midwife concerning her HCG levels, which are crucial markers in early pregnancy, were not rising as expected. In fact, two tests conducted 72 hours apart showed a decline in levels, which is an ominous sign of a potential miscarriage. Understandably shaken and desperate for clarity, we went to your urgent care facility seeking an ultrasound and additional lab work to verify the results and understand what was happening. From beginning to end, the service received was terrible. The receptionist were chatting to one another about a night out, while taking my wifeu2019s information and the medical assistant failed to relay the reason for our visit. Teagan was rude, unkempt, and displayed some of the most reprehensible behaviors of a medical professional. Please understand I use the word u201cprofessionalu2019 for communication purposes only, because professionalism was nowhere to be foundWhat followed was nothing short of dismissive and, frankly, negligent. After waiting a considerable amount of time, Teagan entered the room and flatly told us something we already knewu2014that my wife was pregnant. He offered no insight, no plan for follow-up, and no compassion. When I asked why we were made to wait only to hear a reiteration of known information, Teagan defensively stated, u201cI just came in,u201d as though that absolved him of any responsibility.I expressed that another urgent care facility we had visited in the past provided more thorough and attentive care. His response? u201cThen go over there.u201d Not only was this disrespectful and completely inappropriate, but it also showcased a total disregard for patient concerns and constructive feedback. Rather than addressing the issue or demonstrating any willingness to help or improve the experience, he turned his head away, refusing to even make eye contact with meu2014a clear indication of his lack of professionalism and inability to engage with patients in a moment of crisis.Teaganu2019s actionsu2014or lack thereofu2014demonstrated a troubling mix of indifference, poor communication, and minimal clinical awareness of the emotional gravity of the situation. In a healthcare environment, particularly one dealing with pregnancy and potential pregnancy loss, this kind of attitude is unacceptable. Patients seek care not only for their physical well-being but for reassurance, information, and a sense of empathy from those they are trusting with their most vulnerable moments.I urge you to thoroughly review this encounter and assess whether Teagan meets the professional and ethical standards expected of someone in his position. Incompetence is one matteru2014but the absence of basic human decency and the unwillingness to listen, communicate, or assist is something that must be addressed with urgency.I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to hearing about the steps you intend to take to ensure that no other patient has to endure such disregard during a time of need.Sincerely,Andrele King

Great service! No long waits - in and out and they diagnosed my issue right away! The Dr (Brenda, I believe) was kind, attentive and professional. The front desk gal was also quick and efficient with my check in. Highly recommend this UC.
