an employee sliced his arm, went to the ER but they were packed, We ended up coming to this clinic and Mr. Deben, he was calm and cool, we were very much at ease, Doc put 11-or 12 stiches, no pain, we were both impressed and very happy with the service, We will be customers for life. Thank you for taking such good care of my employee and the scar is almost invisible. all for 330 bucks. So happy we didn't go to the ER

WARNING! DO NOT SEE NP Frederick Deben Jr.!!!!!!!! STAY FAR FAR AWAY. Went here after having a severe cough, congestion, headaches, vomiting & various other ailments for almost 2 weeks. I could barely keep my eyes open & my father had to drive me. NP Deben came into the room, asked me to open my mouth and said 'yep you have the crud'. No temperature check. No blood check. No swab test. Nothing. I was completely blindsided, in all my years I have never been treated so carelessly from a medical professional. I requested a swab and blood sample be taken and his words were WHAT FOR?. He then proceeded to turn to my father and explain how I will just need to take Tylenol & a steroid pack for a week. I spoke up and said Tylenol doesn't work on my. He didn't even address me as his patient at this point and just kept on speaking to my Dad, it was like I was invisible to him. I was speechless at this point. I left and drove myself to a secondary Urgent Care closer to Carriere where I was swabbed and my blood was checked within 10 min of arriving. BOOM, diagnosed with Mononucleosis, Strep AND Bronchitis. In fact, the second doc said if I had taken the steroids NP Deben prescribed me, it would have made me more vulnerable to my sickness and increased my symptoms. Thank GOD I got a second opinion and didn't trust this guy. I am 100% reporting this business & this guy to the BBB & MSDH for gross negligence. This could have cost me my life.

Best care, this guy saved me, I was sick as a dog, he got me taken care of like a true professional, fast, quick while while taking his time and explaining to me what was going on, Highly recommened.Plus saved me a ton of money as I almost went to the E R at hospital. Thanks Doc !!!!!!!!

my husband went there due to severe eye issues. the quack of a docter said u201c you have pinkeyeu201d and did not even look in his eye! he proceeded to charge his insurance 350 dollers for 5 bottles of eye drops when that was definitely not needed. well as soon as we got home i said let me just look. turns out he had metal stuck his in eye from work. had to go get it drilled out at the eye docter. NEVER go here. he is awful.

I took my child to the Picayune location of Maxem Urgent care for the 2nd time yesterday to be seen for a minor head injury. After a bad experience in this clinic over a year ago, I'm glad we gave them another chance. The entire staff were very professional, caring and kind. The medical provider was great, and had my child relaxed and laughing while patching her up. Thank you Maxem Urgent Care for making positive changes and for being there for us when the other Urgent Care clinics in town were already closed for the evening.
