Avoid going here unless you have great insurance or are extremely wealthy. I had been going to Dr. Alexander for about 3 years. For some of that time, I had insurance but most of the time I didn't and had to pay out of pocket. In 1 year's time, he raised his fee by $75 - as of this post, he charges $200 for a simple 5 minute office visit where he does nothing but ask you questions (not even a physical exam). I have several medical issues that he failed to treat. My most serious is a cervical spine issue that I see a Neurosurgeon for and have had 2 major surgeries. (Side note: my NEUROSURGEON charges $80 an office visit and actually does an exam). I am on Diabetes medicine that Dr. Alexander prescribed for me and when it was time for one of my refills, he was refusing to refill it because I had cancelled an appointment with him (because I didn't have the $200) although I was scheduled for one 2 weeks later. He eventually refilled it after a lot of arguing with the Office Manager but I was told that he was discharging me and my appointment was being cancelled. No great loss. Dr. Alexander is ONLY interested in making money (which is obvious by his outrageous office visit charge) and doesn't care about his patients' well-being. The disparity between a Neurosurgeon's fee and a General Practitioner's fee is crazy. Somebody needs to oversee what some of these people are charging. He is totally taking advantage of people and I would also guess people's insurance companies. While he does seem like a very knowledgeable doctor, he is ONLY interested in the money. Avoid this place if you don't want to be ripped off.

I had no problems with Dr Alexander. Some staff members, on the other hand, needs to be changed. I called once to ask a question regarding a medication prescribed to me. It was Friday afternoon and I was told that someone will call me back with more information. Never got a call back. I figured they were extremely busy and didnu2019t let it bother me. I waited till Tuesday to call back, what a surprise, nobody decided to leave a note in regards to my question. I had to wait again for someone to call me back and luckily they did. I didnu2019t complain. Second red flag. I had blood work done, after getting my results, I called the doctors office to see if I can get a copy of my result. I was told that someone will call me back regarding my results, Iu2019m not sure why since I already knew my results and all I wanted was a copy of the documents. I never got a call back. Finally I had called to see when my next appointment was, I was told that it already passed and that someone had called me and left me a message on my voicemail. Now, anyone who has an iPhone knows that all voicemails are stored and easily accessed from the Voicemail category in the Phone app. There wasnu2019t any records of a voice mail from the doctors office on the 15th. I didnu2019t see a missed call either. Why lie about that? I donu2019t understand. I would of said, damn that was my fault. I should of recorded my appointment date. I would of accepted the no show fee also. But it pissed me off that they couldnu2019t even be honest about something like that. The person I was speaking to, Alex, transferred me to the manager , Ream (not sure if thatu2019s how you spell it). I spoke to the manager with the issues I had with this office. She said there is no reason for them to lie. So I guess she was implying I was lying. Finally I confirmed the name of the previous person I was speaking to was Alex, she said no it was a different nameu2026.I canu2019t recall what her real name was. I started laughing. Yea, no reason for them to lie. Until they get more dependable staff members, I would recommend going to a different doctors office where the staff are more hospitable and truthful. This is my first bad review Iu2019ve ever made. That should say allot. I switched my primary doctor after this. I had enough.

I have known Dr. Alexander for many years. He is very helpful and extremely friendly. His staff members are very nice. He responds very quickly whenever I have any medical emergency or need a refill. He takes the time to listen and discuss my concerns and questions.
