The visit was fine. The wait was a little long and the lobby was full. I hate they have gone to the self check in system. I took my mentally handicapped sister in for the visit and there is no way she could have done this on her own. As soon as we checked in she was called back up so what was the point? It could have all been handled at the same time. But other than the wait and the computer check in everything else was great. Everyone was super helpful and friendly. They ran the tests that were necessary, gave her helpful at home care advice and sent us home.

I am very disappointed with the care my son, a nearly three year old boy, received at Roper today. My son woke up from his nap today with a fever, so naturally I thought to take him to be seen by a physician (especially given the fact I have mono currently). Unfortunately, I drove to two different MUSC After Hours clinics and both of them stopped accepting patients for the day. The staff at the front desk were all polite and helpful, nand triage nurse/medical assistant was also fantastic. The front desk staff and the medical assistant are the whole reason I am giving a 2 star review instead of a 1 star review. Let me add, I took my son in to be seen later in the day past 7pm. I wanted to get him tested for mono and that was it. The physician (the main provider on 4/8) seemed to be acting abrasively and impatiently with my son. If I am not mistaken, I do not think he introduced himself, he hardly asked about the symptoms my son was having, it truly seemed like he did not care. Based off of what I saw today compared to care my son and I have both received in the past, this is not typical for healthcare providers. Moreover, when he went to check my sons throat and mouth, he pretty much pried my sons mouth open while the medical assistant and I were holding him down on the exam table. He really did not take much time at all with examining my son. I asked only for my son to be tested for mono, as I have mono, and the physician had him tested for strep, covid, and the flu on top of the mono tests. This is a lot of testing for a poor child who is not feeling well. Instead of taking his time with my child, it seems as if he was rushing through the exam with my son. I understand it is the end of the day, but as a mother I expect my child to receive better care than seeming like they are just trying to push people out of the door. I was and am genuinely concerned about my son being sick. However, it seems as if the physician was just looking for a diagnosis to give him.nnI would not recommend this Roper Express Care location to anyone, but especially not to parents with younger children. This situation left a bad taste in my mouth and I am appalled.

Walked in. Full house. Expected long wait. Was in and out in about an hour. Professional, courteous and highly competent. This is our third visit - once for me, once for my wife, and once for my son-in-law. Each time exceptional. Could not recommend more highly.

I got in so quickly. I got checked in fast. I got my vitals taken very quickly. X-rays were done quickly and the results came back from the provider even quicker. I think I was in and out of this location in less than 45 minutes. Altogether everyone was very quick and efficient and extremely friendly and didn't rush me at all, and we're actually very involved in my care and not dismissive. This is why I always come to this location for care.

I like the facility. They're always professional and courteous. On this particular visit, I felt i waited longer than usual to be taken into an exam room. Once I was in an exam room, after my vitals were taken, the PA came in to examine/treat me. Based on what I told her and her exam, I was diagnosed and released with a follow up recommended. I appreciate that they listen to what you tell them and don't discount your concerns.
