Had a horrible experience at Care Spot. Decided to leave and come to your office- it was so great. Quick service, everyone was so friendly and Mr. Jecen was very professional. Also, no co pay was needed unlike the competitors! Love this location

Came here with my young son and I was blown away by the level of care and treatment. The wait was quick. The lady at the check in was nice.My son (14 months) was seen by Michael Jecen, PA during his first appointment and then George PJ Jones, PA, during our follow up visit. Both providers were the best. They both made my husband and I feel informed and listened to our concerns. They were so sweet with my son and made him feel comfortable. We walked away feeling good and he healed from his ear infection quickly. Thank you both for caring about your patients! I will recommend this location to everyone!

I had a horrible/dismissive experience at another urgent care- which I left crying. I ended up at UF Urgent care bc I knew that I didnu2019t get a proper treatment plan/care at the first place. I am seriously so grateful and impressed with the service I got here. Absolutely night and day between the AWFUL PA I saw at the first urgent care and the amazing PA Micheal Jencen who I saw here. An absolute night and day experience in quality of care, bedside manner, and overall service here. Micheal was extremely thorough in his exam, listened to all my concerns, answered all my questions, and was overall caring and kind. I really was so impressed with everyone on staff here from the front desk to the radiology tech and beyond. Especially compared to the other urgent care I went to first it was just an insane difference of service and care. I honestly could go on but just go here if you need Urgent Care treatment!

This place is pretty bad. I've had a few good doctors here, but lately they have been at other locations and unavailable to aid us. Consistency is important, and they don't provide it.I came in with a bad cough last year and before I could say anything about my symptoms I had a doctor (who I can't remember his name) yelling at me that he doesn't prescribe narcotics. His examination took less than a minute, he didn't look at anything besides the wall as he told me his routine about No Narcotics at least 5 times and then prescribed me 3 different medications, 2 of which were not supposed to be taken together. When I spoke with the business manager about this she stated Yes, we've had problems with him before but mostly just dismissed me.I wish I could recommend another urgent care facility in town, but I have yet to find one that isn't just as bad. They used to do good work here, but the doctors I knew that did good work were all transfers from when Healing Arts closed and they have since moved to other facilities. Came here for a while because they were good back then, but the business itself here has a lot of work to do to get to be considered a good facility.

Visited this location back in early November with an inflamed cyst in the middle of my back. I was in so much pain. I couldn't sit against anything, and you could see the cyst, which was terribly infected, protuding from under my shirt. I went to 2 other clinics in St. Augustine, which I won't name, who wouldn't see me for over 3 weeks bcuz they were fully booked even tho I was crying and begging just to be given an antibiotic bcuz I was getting sick from the infection. I had no choice but to go to go to UF Health Urgent Care and boy am I glad that I did! I was seen almost immediately. Rebecca took me back and she was so comforting and had so much patience with me. Within 5-10 minutes Dr. Sheikowitz came in, looked at the area and told me it was infected and that he was going to express it right then and give me an antibiotic. I was so relieved but also scared to have it cut open, but Rebecca helped me thru it. She even told me to hold her hand and squeeze it when I was scared or hurting. Who does that these days?!!! Well, this Angel did that day! I was instantly put at ease. Dr. Sheikowitz talked me thru everything he did, and was as gentle as he could be. I couldn't have asked for a better visit, considering the circumstances. He went on to tell me how to treat the area after the procedure and told me that he wanted me to come back in 3 days to have a follow-up. I went home and didn't have any issues. The 3 days passed and I went back and seen P.A. Todd Owen's and he was great too. He took out the packing and cleaned the area and rebandaged it and told me, once again, how to treat it in the following weeks. I was given the perfect treatment plan for me and everyone there was so kind and genuinely caring. To those I mentioned I am so thankful that there are still ppl like you all in the medical field..
