Re: Billing Dept You know that joke they put on your bill now, your insurance has been billed correctly, well not in my experience. Luckily my insurance is through a multi-national company and they have designated reps to speak with members so I was able to have them call the billing department directly and explain how they mis-coded my bill (multiple times); however, the clinic felt to was better to just finally write off $700+ of preventative shots for my kids after billing me for them for 5 months and threatening collections than to correct their billing error after my insurance company told them forcefully (as it was the third time now) that I was not responsible for the balance on my account because my insurance covers preventative shots 100% and they had billed it incorrectly. So, I just got the latest bill in, and what did I expect, they billed a routine school physical as a follow up IUD implant visit so it wasn't covered at all instead of being covered at 100%, and I had to wait for my EOB to even know what they were charging me for because now on the new bills you only get a dollar amount to pay no codes or details. I pity you guys that don't have the insurance advocacy that I have God knows what they are doing to your billing and you don't even know it.

My experience with the Cleveland Medical Mall was a total nightmare. The doctor seemed to be nice at first but once they bill your insurance company, things get really bad. Dr. Steven Clark is the worst doctor ever. His staff is very rude and inconsiderate and they don't care about the health of their patients. They seem to be in a rush at all times and never completely get the full reason for your visit. I was overtalked on the phone by the nurse and the waiting time was horrible. The visit was rushed. My first visit, I sat in the office and started explaining my reason for being there and I wasn't able to get all of my symptoms out to the doctor before he interrupted and started talking. As a professional, it is in the best interest of the patient to understand completely what is wrong with them before trying to prescribe medicine that may interfer with something else. Also, the blood pressure medicine he prescribed me, I am allergic to and I called the office after being instructed by an on-call ER doctor to discontonue the medicine I am allergic to, he wouldn't prescribe me any other medicine, never would talk to me and decided he wouldn't see me anymore because I called so much. I went an entire week and a half without blood pressure medicine because he was such a snob and mean. I would never refer anyone to Cleveland Medical Mall to Dr. Steven Clark. If he is this inconsiderate, I can imagine how the rest of the doctors are there. Very unpleased!
