I went in because I had a stomach bug and needed a school excuseu2026 I ended up getting sick and almost passing out in the office, and the staff was amazing! They were so kind and took great care of me! They made me feel comfortable and made sure I was okay. I was literally puking right in front of them and they were just as nice as could be to make sure I got what I needed and quickly. I couldnu2019t recommend them enough and Iu2019m so thankful I decided to go in that day!

I am running a fever and donu2019t feel well. I checked to see what time this urgent care closes today. 6pm. Great, I thought, itu2019s close to my house and I have plenty of time to get there. Arrived at 5:05pm but the girl behind the desk informed me that they just taken in their last patient for the day. Really?? Youu2019re opened till 6 but you donu2019t see anymore patients after 5pm? Urgent Care 59 needs to change its closing hour to 5pm. I called Eastern Shore Urgent Care and they said u201cyes sir, we take patients almost right up to 6pm, depending on the patient symptoms.u201d Takes me 25 minutes to get there but well worth the time. I felt too bad to drive there tonight. Be seeing them in the morning!

I rarely ever leave reviews for anything... this was our first time ever visiting an urgent care. My son had a fever & developed an itchy rash on his feet & top of his hands. We arrived to check in the girl at the front mumbled so quietly I could not hear her, she asked for license/ins and I told her my sons name twice & symptoms, about 10 mins of sitting there she called me back to the counter to check in on a computer, when I typed my sons name & dob, there was no appointment made. I advised her of his name again to get checked in, in which she updated with his correct name to get signed in. In the disclosure, I signed a waiver that stated the office tests for flu, strep & Covid. When we got back the Dr was nice but didn't seem to really know what the rash or fever was caused from, nor did he check my son for fever, heart rate, look at his ears or throat, etc.. he did not run any kind of test at all & said could be a heat rash from fever & prescribed steroids. (This was on Sunday.) well fast forward to Wednesday my son still doesn't seem to be himself so we went to his primary dr in which I listed all his symptoms, she checked his breathing, ears, throat, etc and stated she would test him for strep bc his throat was red as well as do bloodwork. Turns out he had strep all along and that is what caused his fever and the itchy rash. We picked up the antibiotics prescribed & while speaking to the pharmacy that I just spoke with a few days prior advised we shouldn't have used the urgent care in Bay Minette in which I agreed. I made the ride to Malbis today to the urgent care for myself to find out if I had strep as well instead of going back to the one closer to my house to waste more money on a misdiagnosis without looking into the problem or conducting any tests. We will be using Eastern Shore Urgent Care if we ever need to see a dr outside of normal hours again.

I called to see what time they close and the girl I spoke to said 6 but they don't see anyone after 5:30. I arrived at 5:10 and they were walking to their cars. The sign on the door also says they close at 6 and won't see anyone after 5:30 yet they closed 50 minutes early.
