Every time I come here I have a terrible experience, you would think I learned my lesson. This is from the end of April:nI went back today for throat pain, they wanted to test me for Covid & I said no, that they can test me for strep & if thatu2019s negative we can go from there (bc I already knew it was strep & not covid) well the little girl had an attitude about that. The dr comes in & im laying on the table & she says u201csit upu201d looks at my throat & says i def need to be treated even if not strep, test comes back positive for strep, she comes in & hands me the paper saying they called me in antibiotics (amoxicillin) which I had at home lol. Anyways, I said usually when I have strep I get a shot (bc I get strep once or twice a year & have ALWAYS gotten a shot & then they call me in antibiotics) & she said thereu2019s no shot on here. So I left, & then I called & asked to speak to dr so I could ask why I didnu2019t get a shot & she said itu2019s up to the provider & that the antibiotic will do what it needs to do. So rude.nnTWO WEEKS LATER I STILL HAVE STREP. Iu2019m at affinity now being treated & I recommended this place! They got me in & out & gave me a shot, amazing customer service AT AFFINITY WALK IN CLINIC MONROE. DO NOT USE ST FRANCIS URGENT

My son has strep throat & was feeling miserable. (I know he has strep because I went to another facility). When I walked in, I was met with a very rude u201cMau2019am can I HELP you?u201d I told her my son didnu2019t feel well & needed to see someone. I was advised I needed to come back the next morning because it was 7pm & they close at 8. If you donu2019t want to see patients after a certain time because you MAY get out of there at 8:05, lock the door next time. Donu2019t put your closing hour as 8 if youu2019re going to turn away a patient who feels absolutely miserable. My son didnu2019t choose to be sick, but you chose the profession to treat him, or so I thought.

I went in with a cough, they supposedly ran tests and told me I had Covid. I really felt like I had a cold, so I did not one, but Three tests, all came back Negative!!! Do they get kickbacks or something on telling people they have Covid?

I have been calling trying to get information for my workers comp people and for my job that requires paperwork to be filled out. I have emailed previously to them but I cannot find the email they have given me and called to let them know I have more paperwork I need filed and to get a email to send it to. Everytime I speak to one lady in particular she never seems to know what to do or doesnu2019t want to help. She is very condescending and acts as if she doesnu2019t want to help. This is extremely frustrating due to the fact I need information from them that can only be provided BY THEM. My nurse practitioner and her team were amazing for my visit and listened to me but the front desk receptionist are the worst part about this place. Also bad if you need prior information from them because they donu2019t seem to want to provide it to you or will make you wait a week before you hear back or get anything back. Part 2 The lady that I am talking about is named hope. She is extremely rude and will not listen or wants to understand how to help or understand a situation. When asked to speak to someone above her or over her she will refuse and try to get you to call later. As long as that woman is a receptionist yu2019all will not be giving good care. It starts at the front. Highly suggest a training course for her or even just replacing her entirely.

I took my grandson in on Dec 28, a Saturday, and I guess the girl at the front desk didn't want to be there. The waiting room stayed full for over an hour and she didn't seem to even want to speak to anyone with questions. The whole waiting room also over heard her being rude to a lady over the phone and slamming the phone down. Once in our room it was another very long wait and I could hear the receptionist now in the back of the clinic telling her co workers about her phone call, lots of gossiping going on back there. Doctor finally came in with no mask on which seemed odd with all the sickness going around. My grandson tested positive for flu. I feel like the clinic management is failing here at this location and not hiring staff that care about the walk in patients. Hope they do better next time!
