My sister's appointment was for 8:30 am she arrived at 8:45 am. However, she was slightly confused thinking her appointment time was the wrong time. The receptionist told her that the doctors schedule was full. We all know that if a patient is late it is truly up to the physician's discretion on whether or not he or she will see the patient. When asked the receptionist never budged. I think on the strength of the children that, pediatric offices should think twice about pushing people away with their kids. My sister said that she was told that the doctors at this place were awesome, that's why she went. Unfortunately, one will never find out because the staff won't let you. Maybe this office need to restaff.

Dr.M is an awesome provider. He was able to see my child for an emergent visit and gave us the best care. He is thoughtful, patient, and asked us such thorough questions. The entire staff was great as well. Check-in was quite seamless.

I have been taking my son here since birth and refuse to bring him for more than a well-child checkup. I previously tried to contact several times when my baby was sick and each time it ended up being an urgent care or emergency room visit for an ear infection due to every doctor being busy. The last well-child visit turned into a sick visit because my son had an ear infection that was already being treated by a different physician that was not Medstar. The office staff get an attitude if you let them know you are already on a payment plan and don't need others in the office to hear or when I didn't have the latest bill (hadn't been sent yet) and was rudely and loudly told the next time I brought my son in, he wouldn't be seen unless I paid (heard conflicting stories on whether this is true of the business or not). I also don't appreciate that my insurance was being charged for stuff that was not completed. No complaints with Dr. M other than he's a male, Engle-Pratt is amazing and always takes the time to answer questions I have.
