If I were rating the staff and facility seperatly, I would give the staff 5 stars for friendly and quick service. We have used this provider for sports physicals in the past and their physician has always been thorough, personable and competent...which is enough for our needs. If I were rating the facility, I would likely give them a 2. When we arrived, my first thought was that it was closed down based on the overgrown shrubs and overall outside appearance. Lighting was poor (burnt/non working bulbs), floor was unclean, ice melt still sitting in lobby entrance (it's July), no soap in the restroom (dispenser appeared broken/removed), etc.

Visited today 12/28/2014, for my 9 month old son. We arrived at 10:30 (half hour after opening) There were 5 people ahead of us, we were not even called back until after 1:00. I asked to use the restroom mainly so I could change my babies diaper and the bathroom didn't even have a changing table. It was dirty the soap dispenser was broken the toilet was dirty. Needless to say I didn't change his diaper until we went back to a treatment room and by that time he had soaked through and had pissy pants. As soon as they brought us back they had to get the babies height and weight but they did not have a baby scale. I asked why they didn't have a baby scale and the medical assistant said it was broken and someone was occupying the room it was in. When we went back to the room the medical assistant had me take my babies temperature because he apparently was not qualified to do it! He said the doctor would be in shortly. Half an hour later, with a restless baby as I was getting him dressed ready to walk out the door without even being seen the doctor opens the door just to say I will be with you shortly, Well thanks doc seeing as how we have been hear more than 3 hours now. Ten more minutes and the doctor finally came in. Checks out the baby a total of five minutes since there is no fever, he says he will rule out the flu. If symptoms worsen or he gets a fever you can bring him back we are open till 8:00! Are you kidding me I would just as soon chop off my own arm before bringing him back to this place. I didn't mention how nasty the place was the waiting room, bathroom, and treatment rooms all had debris on the floor and very dim lighting, I wonder why. I have never wrote a bad review about any place before but this had me fuming. Worst doctors experience of my life and I am originally from Florida if that tells you anything. So I absolutely do not recommend going to this urgent care especially if it's for an infant!

I wanted to share with anyone that needs to make a visit to the doctor to visit Deerfield Urgent Care. The medical staff is top notch, professional and courteous.I had developed a bit of a bad cough and respiratory infection and was able to see the doctor shortly after signing in. This was in stark contrast to another Urgent Care within 5 minutes of my home where I was treated discourteous by a rude medical receptionist. I live in Morrow. We all get sick from time to time and need to visit the doctor...I highly recommend this Urgent Care facility. Amy a young medical receptionists was especially pleasant and professional. If you need minor medical treatment visit this facility.

While the staff was courteous and friendly, and we were seen quickly by a doctor, I was infuriated when I found out they charged $285 just to look at my daughter's ears to diagnose an ear infection. They also administered a breathing test. They handed her a spirometer, which is literally a plastic tube that the patient blows into to see how far the exhaled air will move the ball up the tube. She wasn't complaining of a cough when we came in, but when she was asked if she had any other symptoms, she told them she coughed once in a while, and that it wasn't a troublesome symptom. They charged an additional $50 just to do this breathing test. (I have three kids, ages 16, 18, and 21, and that is the first time any doctor has EVER given any of them a breathing test for a minor cough accompanying an ear infection.) There was an additional $100 charge on my insurance's explanation of benefits, but it didn't specify what the charge was for. So they billed Blue Cross a total of $435 to look in her ears and diagnose an ear infection, which is what we told them we were there for to begin with. When I called the urgent care to discuss the charges, I was told if I had been a self-pay, I would have been charged $85 for the visit. I was also told later by the office manager in a separate phone call that it was my own fault for not asking how much everything would be. The reason I didn't ask is because I've never, ever seen a charge of $435 to check for an ear infection and wouldn't have guessed in a million years that anyone in their right mind would charge this amount. I had taken her to River's Bend Urgent Care in Maineville two months prior to this visit to treat an ear infection and persistent cough, and to swab her for strep, and they only charged my insurance company $225. My out-of-pocket for that visit, since we haven't met our deductible, ended up being $91. My out-of-pocket for the visit to Deerfield Urgent Care is $171---just to look inside my daughter's ears. There are some really questionable billing practices at this urgent care, and I would not recommend using their services.

The staff and doctor exceeded our expectations. Dr. Sanders has a great bedside manner and spent more time than we expected with us. He explained the diagnosis and treatment options clearly and thoroughly.
