Really a 4.5 rating.nnThe nurses who took care of me were amazing and deserve 5 stars. Giving 4.5 stars because I didnu2019t receive a dinner meal one night. I put in an order but it never came so a mix up mustu2019ve happened with dietary. Luckily, I had friends who brought me food during a visit and my nurse offered to bring me snacks. Overall, it was a comfortable stay and I was well taken care of.

Gave birth here and loved it ! The labor and delivery staff were attentive, knowledgeable and supportive through the entire process. I had a student nurse watching my labor and ultimately my delivery and she was just so sweet and helpful . Delivery is always hard on a momma and the nurses did their best to assist and accommodate in anyway they could . No restrictions to visitors or guests so it was amazing to have that freedom

Iu2019m currently here, it has been a horrible experience. I call and ask for help, nobody ever comes. My scheduled medications are skipping, I ask for ice chips, nobody ever brings anything. I have issues with my iv and ask of assistance, no one ever comes. I couldnu2019t imagine this hospital was run so poorly. I have lived in Tallahassee my entire life and always planned to do sou2026.until this happened. Realizing now, as I entered the twilight of my life, ethical, caring, and competent medical care is paramount, I am planning to move to Gainesville so that I can receive proper and compassionate care at Shands. TMH is broken, broken beyond repair. Itu2019s so incredibly bad, the care they provide, their u201cStaff Responsivenessu201d to the patients goal is 66%!!!! Thatu2019s just barely a passing grade and they grade themselves ud83eudd2f See my attached pic for yourself! Everyone beware itu2019s not the same place you grew up with.

Stayed overnight. Was hungry a lot due to need to have no food for CT, MRIs, etc. Thought they could schedule tests quicker than they did. One nurse was exceptionally helpful and brought me food as soon as my MRI was completed. Doctors and nurses were cordial and business like. And good at their work. Thank you!

This hospital is amazing. Nurse Alex in ICU did an incredible job taking care of my brother during his final days, she also worked really hard to comfort my family. Her skills, her knowledge and her work ethics were amazing. My prayer is that she will go far in life and continue to let her light shine on GODS people!
