The er department is the worst. The wait time of 6 1/2 hrs was crucial but that's not my complaint. My complaint is that the nurses have very bad bedside manner and they talk crap about the patients. I was not a patient but my wife was. I listened to several nurses saying things that should not be said in an er about the patients. If you'd like to complain, please call the patient advocate where you leave a messenger that will never be returned. They are overwhelmed with er complaints.

Zero stars is more appropriate. This place sent my father off to die elsewhere because they didn't want him on their hands. He needed more care in the ICU, if that exists in this hospital. Thanks for that, he's not your problem anymore, he died in Grand Junction. With proper care in the beginning, he could still be with us today.

I went to the ER recently because of an episode of numbness on one side.The Doctor was fantastic along with the blood and xray techs. I would have given a 5 star rating if all the ER staff were as professional.After I found out that what had happened was not serious I was much relieved.I went to the nurses station to see if there were somewhere else we could wait for test results and possibly get food or beverage because we had been waiting so long, once again because it was not serious, last in triage is a good problem to have!I was impolitely informed that you must wait in your room for results and no food or beverage is SOP in emergency rooms because of the possibility of surgery. That make perfect sense. I am fine with that, but it could have been expressed with far less snark!My main complaint is with a comment that was made when I approached the nurses desk in the first place and I asked what I was there for. Before I had a chance to answer, one of the lazy underling staff replied Nothing!. I find this rude, reckless and quite unprofessional. It is as if they are suggesting if you have possible symptoms stroke or heart attack to simply call your primary care provider for an appointment!I am sorry I was not in a severe enough condition to satisfy this lazy, playing on his phone peice of work with a hero complex.This immature, under educated janitor really needs to keep his mouth shut.Very disturbing! Very unprofessional!

If you have concerns about your health go to another city. Delta has the worst staff. They really donu2019t care who could die. Youu2019re going to get attitude and false diagnosis. After being advised by my dr to go to the er after my lung biopsy I was treated like I was faking it. The bum er tech asked me where I got my oxygen that the er had prescribed me. He treated me like I stole it. It was definitely a lot of discrimination there. Iu2019m going to find out who I can report all of them to. They shouldnt have been hired since they really only care about themselves.

Delta hospital is horrible. Unless you have to, don't go there. ER docs, and ER nurses talk shit about patients, and have zero remorse for family members. Delta hospital is THE WORST!!!!
