BEWARE, THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAM ARTISTS, MY FIRST VISIT I HAD LABS AND BLOOD WORK DONE, I CALLED TO GET MY RESULTS AND THEYRE TELLING ME THEY CANT GIVE RESULTS OVER THE PHONE, I HAVE TO MAKE ANOTHER APPOINTMENT, WHICH MEANS SPENDING MORE MONEY FOR ANOTHER APPOINTMENT, THESE PEOPLE ARE VERY DIFFERENT TO DEAL WITH, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

If you need any kind of narcotics,forget about it,nPlus they referred me to Drs that didn't even take my insurance and were clear on the other side of Houston... terrible

This was a follow-up office visit. Doctor treated me with kindness, dignity, and respect. She carefully explained my test results and how the results affected her diagnosis and treatment. She made sure I understood everything and carefully listened to my concerns. Very productive and reassuring visit. I highly recommend Family Medicine MMC!

Pros: clean office, labs in house, staff is friendly, and wait time is very short compared to my previous clinic.nnCons: (might just be me) I donu2019t feel like I received the answer I wanted to my concerns. I had an annual exam done first and I was informed I could not bring up any concerns unless I was willing to pay a separate appointment. I understood so I waited a couple of weeks.nnI was scheduled for a second appointment to review my blood work and address the concern I was previously experiencing. However, I was just told to run a few u201ctrialsu201d with medications over the counter and that otherwise nothing could be done. Ultimately, I paid my co-pay for a 10 min consult that couldnu2019t really assist my initial concern. Might reach out to my insurance to see if I can receive a second opinion with another provider.

Starting with the front desk staff that greets you when you walk into the doctor Mejia's office everyone greets you with a smile. It's so nice that any nurse that does your triage are always friendly and well informed, if they do not know the answer to your question, they will make sure they find out. The lab techs are just great they're the best lab techs I've ever! I saw Dr Mejia today and as always it was very pleasant. She did want to make sure I do take advantage of the program her office offered to speak to the dietitan to help me with some of my health concerns. I am always well taken care and would never think of going anywhere else.
