It may sound strange but I really enjoy my time at the LCMC Uptown Urgent Care- the main receptionist is such a pro at the front desk that when she is away- no one can compare to her... she is very professional and was a helpful guide when guiding a novice employee last week. I was in the office weekly for a shot so I have experienced quite a few visits with the team- they have been very helpful and supportive to me. They have been encouraging and nice- even when I have the same silly jokes about how I keep disappearing ;) I am glad that my sister is one of your LCMC docs too. :) Thanks for always looking for the best employees. :)

On 4/24/2025 I went to LCMC Urgent Care Center on Magazine St. for sciatica problems. I was seen by NP Jessica Doucette. I was diagnosed and given a prescription which I have been taking and am very much improved. I was quite pleased with the entire experience and when I attempted to send in an excellent review there was a difficulty with the procedure and I was unable to do so. Anyway, I wanted someone to know they did an outstanding job!

When youu2019re in pain, all we are looking for is relief. I was at a 10 pain and after walking out of the LCMC on Magazine St and getting home, Iu2019m was barely a 1. Jessica was my nurse practitioner. Sorry canu2019t remember the cray tech or nurse asst that helped but I give them all a 10! Just know that this place made a difference in my life in about 3 hours. Iu2019m still good with helping manage my pain with meds and setting me up for PT.Thank you so much LCMC team.

The pricing was very high, and the explanation for the cost was unclear. I was charged $320 for a urinary tract infection, in addition to the urine test. The bill listed Office/Outpatient New Moderate MDM 45-59 Minutes, but my actual time with the doctor was only about 10 minutes. When I asked how the price was determined, I was given a vague response, stating that it depends on various factorsu2014including insurance, symptoms, and other unclear criteria. I usually pay medical bills promptly, but this experience left me feeling like I was being taken advantage of.

I did not have to wait very long. Even though i was a new patient, the intake process was guick & comprehensive.Staff kept the registration moving along.
