I want to take the opportunity to brag on Alex Gross the CRNP at Chilton Urgent Care and her staff. I had been running a low-grade fever since Monday but kept thinking I would get better. Friday morning, I went to the Chilton urgent care thinking that I just had a bad sinus infection. When she examined me, she decided that she needed to run some test and x-rays. I also mentioned that I had a spot on my butt that was very sore. She looked at it and said that it needed to be lanced. To my surprise, she said that she could handle it. After lancing and draining the abscess, she told me that I needed to be admitted to the hospital because she didnu2019t like what she saw. After I was admitted to the Elmore Community Hospital where she has admitting privileges, they started an antibiotic treatment and ran additional test to make sure the infection was going down and hadnu2019t done any additional damage. The hospital remined me of the old Clanton hospital but the doctor and staff also provided outstanding service. Alex came by to check on me Saturday morning in the hospital which surprised me. We usually just hear of bad treatment care, but we also need to hear of the great local doctors that genially care for our health. Iu2019m home now on an antibiotic treatment and feeling so much better because of the service Alex and her team at Ivy Creek Healthcare provided.

These young ladies are exceptional. They treated me with respect and understanding the entire time I was there, I had a wonderful nurse help me more than I knew I needed this morning. I will not go to any other urgent care from now on, this is the best experience I have ever had at an urgent care. It was quick and extremely helpful. Thank you so much!

Came here with breathing problems a few days ago, still having them. The lady in pink scrubs was extremely rude when I first came in and made me carry around my cold urine sample for hours. They didn't test me for any sicknesses and the DOCTOR told me to get a primary doctor. What do you think emergency rooms are for? I couldn't breathe! Turns out I have covid. But not diagnosed by you guys! terrible place. Sad to say I was born at st vincents. That will be a last.

I got there an hour before closing time. They were locked. Called and talked to their nurse. According to her she was directed by their manager not to let me in.nGreat CARE GIVERS!!!

Everyone here was absolutely wonderful throughout my whole encounter. I would recommend this place to anyone in need of urgent medical attention. So thankful we have such a great urgent care local for desperate needs. The employees are so nice and make you feel like they genuinely care for your wellbeing.
