I have worked with Apex partners for several years. They are the #1 reason I have been able to scale my private practice. I had fired 2 billers prior to hiring Apex. I interviewed 40 billers locally and nationally and they were the only company that could fully answer all of my questions. They do highly recommend you use their EHR billing system because the system they use works well and all of their staff are trained in that system. Yes we do take the steps needed to send them all of our information each week that they need to bill the sessions but itu2019s worth it. I am extremely specific with how I want my billing managed and they have bent over backwards to meet my needs. I have followed all of their suggestions in terms of using their system and in turn they do everything I need on my end for this relationship to work. Not to mention the owner and all of his staff are very easy to communicate with and are just all around great people. I wouldnu2019t be where I am today without them!

They couldn't work with our EHR. They put THEIR information in for payment address and then mailed the checks and didnt want to send EOB. It took longer to work with them than to do the work than for me to do it so I quit working with them. It's taking months to get Ohio Medicaid set up to my address for the checks and the ones they send to their address are now getting thrown away. Thousands of $$ in checks missing.

This is the second day I have been trying to get them on the phone and I all I get is a recording and to leave my phone number. Not everyone has the option to be called back at their convenience. Very dissatisfied.
