New to area, are all Baptist Health facilities as incompetent as this u201cUrgentCareu201d? I twisted my knee, waited a day to make sure it was not getting better on its own. Showed up at the u201c UrgentCareu201d at 10:10 am on Saturday. They checked me in and got me into a room and took my vitals all within 10 minutes. Told only one person in front of me. Waited 40 minutes before the PA to come in. Saw her for 3-4 minutes. She ordered an X-ray. Waited 30 minutes and no one came to get me for an X-ray. The room I was in was near the u201cnursesu201d station in the back by the exam rooms. The entire 1:10 I was waiting heard almost continuous cackling and laughing. This facility is definitely lacking competent adult supervision. I used to hire a lot of people and understand in this labor market, you take the lowest common denominator because you need a body. If they show up with a pulse you consider a win, no competency required. Evidently that is where Baptist Health is at with their hiring for the Ring Road u201cUrgentCare u201c. Probably would have had better outcome had I went to my Vet. Walking out two staff told me how busy they were, although did not see anyone waiting. Also made excuse that they needed to wait for the Radiologist to read the x-ray that was never taken. Did not seem to care at all that I was walking, hobbling actually, out. Just cared about making excuses. I miss the days of accountability and professionalism.

Absolutely awful. Paid my 75$ copay just to be swabbed in the waiting area for the flu. Once that came back negative, they shoved me out the door with an as needed COUGH MEDICINE with complete disregard to my congestion, sinus pressure, ear pain, fever, and headache. I even asked them to please at least check my ears because I know my body and I know I had a developing ear infection. They assured me that my ears were just waxy. Three weeks later, I am still sick with the same/more extreme symptoms (shocker) so I went back in to nicely and respectfully explain how I feel I was mistreated. Apparently it is impossible to get checked out without paying another 75$. It's completely unfair for a patient in need to have to pay an extra and already ridiculous amount of money just to get properly looked at. I decided that if i'm going to have to pay again I am going to make sure I go to a doctor that's actually going to take care of me and actually give me the treatment I need, so I went to another urgent care. Turns out I don't just have a little cough. I have an upper respiratory infection, a double ear infection, and a sinus infection so extreme that it spread to my eyes. It is extremely disappointing that all of my current health issues could have been prevented weeks ago when I originally paid to get checked out, and it is extremely dehumanizing to feel like the only thing that matters is my money, not my health. I can't work because I am sick, and I can't make money to get better. Thank you Baptist!

My son was seen here tonight. He has an upper respiratory infection. They suggested to send his medication to the CVS pharmacy because the Walmart in radcliff which is where we live will be closed because itu2019s Sunday. We agreed to send his antibiotic there. One hour later and they never sent his medications to the pharmacy. To top it off they are closed and you canu2019t even leave a voicemail now my son has to go another night with no medications.
