If I could give this place less than one star, I would! I just had to make a choice so I could leave this review. My mother sat in the ER for more than 7 hours! With already low blood, they just kept taking more. Then, they wouldnu2019t even give her a blanket for the waiting room because she hadnu2019t been seen by a doctor yetu2026u2026.(I guess they had to have insurance information to bill.) The clowns at the desk were ignorant and cold to the clients. They truly didnu2019t care about anyone! The security guards were lazy and dismissive. I definitely DO NOT recommend this place to anyone!!!!!

I'm from another state and true enough KDH is not the best but it is a good health care hospital to save your life when your in that area. They do their best when times are tough. they have a few new ER Dr's I've meet and they do their best even when the ER is overwhelming. I must say they could use more staff but now days what hospital don't. All hospitals took a big loss during covid.

My daughter came in by ambulance for passing out at a grocery store, we didnu2019t know what from, if it was a seizure or something else, she hasnu2019t been feeling well but had been going to the doctor, but had never done anything like this. We sat in kings daughters waiting area for over 8 hours. I will never come back to this hospital.

I waited four months to post this just make sure I wasnu2019t over reacting. Despite time passing, my feelings of disdain for this hospital, with emphasis on the oncology department remain.n>> first and foremost, some of the nurses who helped my dad were angels with hearts of gold and I hope the universe sees them and blesses them.nNow onto the rest:nMy dad had lung cancer. My family was met with coldness and zero bedside manner by most clinicians. It took ages for treatment plans to be discussed and we literally had to advocate for basic patient care on a daily basis. Dad, who couldnu2019t walk, was there for two weeks before he received his first sponge bath. His room was filthy almost all the time. Things got so bad that eventually my sibling and I had to basically move into my fatheru2019s room to make sure he was provided basic care.nMy dad agreed to go to the hospital to get help, but was hesitant because he felt like the people at this institution didnu2019t listen and that they didnu2019t actually care about him.nI am in medicine and thought he was being dramatic, but he wasnu2019t.nAny hope of having just a little more time on earth was ripped out of my father by this careless and disorganized facility.nHe went there for help and this hospital failed him miserably.nThe more I review his case, the more furious I become. None of this surprises me though given the other reviews. Youu2019ll ask, u201cwhy was he there then?u201dnMy father was resigned to this place because of his socioeconomic status and type of insurance - itu2019s as if they saw a poor man with cancer and Medicaid then immediately did the least. My dad died miserably with the aide of this institution.n(( yes, I did start a case transfer but he was ordered to hospice and died before it was complete )).
