We attempted to go to a different Urgent Care down the street which quoted us $50 for a Sports Physical over the phone. When we arrived we were then told it was going to be $400 (107 for physical and 300 for visit) and the front desk staff became very rude when we politely tried to question the discrepancy.nnWe left that facility and came to Advanced Urgent Care. The receptionist was very friendly and quick to answer all our questions. The Nurse PA who performed the physical had a great bedside manner and was very thorough. Best part, the total charge was $40 (10x less than the other place tried to charge us)nnWe will use this facility for any future Urgent Care needs.

I had the worst experience at this Drs Office ever in my 62 years! Iu2019m visiting Florida for a month and donu2019t have a regular Dr here. I was in extreme pain (8-10) most of the weekend and went here for help on Monday morning. The staff were not very friendly, cold and the Dr Jeannette DeRita ARNP was on a whole different level of not friendly. She said they would do X-rays and we could possible see what the problem was. She neglected to tell me I wouldnu2019t get the results from the X-rays until the next day! I had told her I thought it was bronchitis or walking pneumonia and she never looked into any other possible reasons for the severe pain I was having or ever even look at the area where my pain was at. When she came in and told me that and all she could give me Ibuprofen, in which I told her that hasnu2019t been able to touch the pain, I started crying because i wasnu2019t going to be able to handle this pain another hour let along another day. She basically dismissed me and told the nurse she wasnu2019t dealing with me!! What good Dr would do this??? I ended up going right to Halifax ER down the road, in hindsight I should have went their first. They were wonderful from the get go, even the guard coming in was so kind. They were so kind and thorough and wasnu2019t going to let me leave until they knew what was causing the pain and tried right away to help with the pain. The Dr there was checking me out at Halifax ER and looked at the area where I was having pain and said I had shingles! If you ever have had shingles you know the pain it causes. If the other Dr would have done her job at Advanced Urgent Care and looked it could have been all different, but sheu2019s not much of a Dr or shouldnu2019t be one. I wouldnu2019t recommend ANYONE going to this place for any reason!!

I was treated in early Jan 2025 for a cold/virus. The care I received was excellent. The physician I saw explained my condition and treatment clearly and my wait time was short. The front desk assistant was very pleasant and helpful in terms of my insurance. Definitely a great place to go for immediate care!

The front desk person was very nice and readily gave me paperwork. I was called to come back to see the Dr. assistant was very quick to do Covid and flu test. Within 5 minutes the Dr was in the room and checking lungs. She identified the sickness and provided me with prescriptions. In all we were there about 20 minutes! Very pleased.

This was probably the best interaction in a medical facility that we have ever had. An early evening, weekend Urgent Care visit was very pleasant and surprisingly quick. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing urgent care services.
