I came by on a Thursday afternoon. I had caught a cold or possibly the flu and unlike normal it wouldn't go away no matter how much rest I was getting. I walked into the Playa Visa Urgent Care and filled out the digital form on my phone. I did have to wait a bit, although the waiting room was empty, but it wasn't too bad. I met with someone briefly to do take my temp, blood pressure, etc and then shortly after saw the doctor. He took the time to answer all my questions and then put in a prescription for an antibiotic which I was able to pick up at CVS only a short time later. The medication finally knocked out my sore throat and continuous cough. I did have to pay a $50 fee but for the convenience of being able to get it resolved, while my primary doctor was booked up with appointments, was priceless.

Staffed by Zombies!We used to come here for flu checkups and wound treatment....Now, you walk in, no friendly staff.Just uncaring faces behind glass, telling you to scan the QR code.We have good insurance and are able to pay for services but felt we were treated like second class people this visit.It's not good business practice (or legal?) to require photo copies of all your sensitive documents.We walked out because we felt our concerns were ridiculed.Everything is do what the computer says.It is as if there are no humans there any more.Forget it, we're never going back!

Besides the beautiful location! This urgent care rocks! If you need an X-ray they got you there! The staff is very professional and friendly! I choose this urgent care for my urgent needs!!! I had a similar experience as someone else who wrote a review - issues with deceptive and difficult billing. I've visited this location a handful of times in 2024 - I went in November 2024, and for that bill, instead of being billed by Exer I was billed by Facey Medical with the same doctor I've seen before billing out as a an out of network provider at an in-network Urgent Care facility. I called their billing department and they assured me it was an error and they would fix it, but then I got another bill a few months later for a different cost. Ongoing issues with inconsistent billing, I'd go to a different location.

I had an easy experience at Exer Urgent Care. I went in with flank pain thinking it was a kidney stone, the doctor examined me thoroughly and had me run through a range of physical motions and he accurately diagnosed a muscle strain in my lower back. Prescribed muscle relaxants and Motrin, the pain is gone in 24 hours. Howard the Nurse/PA took vitals and the necessary samples, he was pleasant and friendly. Doctor C saw me maybe an hour after I landed, he was patient, thorough, thoughtful, and attentive. We spent maybe 20 minutes together all in. Wasn't rushing me out the door or anything, great bedside manner. Spent maybe an hour and a half there. This is to be expected with US healthcare and I went in prepared to wait. Registration process is all digital on your phone (great) and two people were ahead of me. I'll come back in the future if necessary.
