The vibe here is something special, it feels like a Snowboarders retreat. The bit of a snowboard museum is pretty sweet, I've seen a lot of old boards but never a telemark-split.Great terrain especially to introduce glades runs to newer skiers and riders, some of the tree runs are perfect to get people used to that type of trail. There are some great less steep and wide trees runs for this. At the same time, there's also some great challenging, steep terrain as well.

First time to Brighton. I got there early so parking was not an issue. Staff was extremely kind and helpful. A lot of trail options at multiple levels. A lot of experienced skiers, keeps things moving really well. I could overhear instructors teaching young and old new skiers. I was very impressed with the teaching and positivity.Food prices were pretty high but levels out with the price and quality of the rentals and the skiing itself. Saw a lot of people grilling in the parking lot. Great option.

Great laid back mountain, epic tree runs and epic snow if you time it right. It was somewhat crowded at the lifts, but the trails didnu2019t feel congested at all. I was lucky enough to go here on a day where there was 20 inches of snow the last 24 hours, and was able to get into an area called u201cSnake Bowlu201d right as ski patrol dropped the rope to it. Best run of my life! Unfortunately I didnu2019t get to try the night skiing, but I love that they have it as itu2019s something unique that not many other Rocky resorts offer.

After 3 years visiting and waiting to give a fair review, today's the day to conclude: 2 stars - one for its local history (glad it's not been purchased by a Denver corp yet, but who knows it's good or bad given its current state), another for its ticket options, some tickets do have a fair price which not every resort offers. My friends and I all feel Brighton is a running down business with extremely poor management with little or no customer care. Our experiences are consistent, every, single, time.1 - They never updated once for their snow report last season and guess what? They simply removed that section from their website this season. The numbers reported were way delayed making them useless. The night skiing map still has the old terrain, feels like they don't want to pay someone to draw a new one. It's hands down the worst ski resort website out there, meaningless.2 - The parking management is terrible. On a sunny Wednesday morning, you could be stuck in the bus waiting for a random driver staying in place for a closest spot for 15 minutes. On a stormy night, you could be waiting near the roundabout for 2 hours without moving an inch despite the parking lot being half empty. They have a big lot, but they took it for granted, no urgency, no plan, they don't care.3 - For many times, there is literally NO ONE managing the lift lines, from Crest to Snake, it was a mess. The Great Western is constantly closed for reasons you name it, and the new Crest? No one remembers any goodness about it any more, just the problems and pains. The staff, many were extremely casual and unprofessional. They care more about their friends that showed up randomly but not you. When you need them the most, they're nowhere to be found or sitting in the room chatting. We really wanted to love you and support you, Brighton. That's why I hesitated to leave my review. But I don't think you're even trying. You're THE worst resort near SLC. Sorry you only deserve 2 stars, and I will lower to 1 if no changes happen.

Brighton is hands down one of the best ski resorts in Utah. Itu2019s got that laid-back, locals-first vibe that makes it feel like home every time I go. The snow is always top-notch, and the terrain has something for everyoneu2014from wide, easy groomers to steep tree runs and fun natural features. One of the best parts? Night skiing. Brighton has the best night skiing in Utah, and lapping Milly under the lights just hits different. Plus, the lift ticket prices are way more reasonable compared to some of the bigger resorts. If youu2019re looking for a resort thatu2019s all about great snow, good vibes, and no ego, Brighton is the place.
