Trash hospital. They say they care about you and they aren't going to rush you to leave if you aren't comfortable. However, that's just what they have to say. It became very clear they just want you to get the hell out in order to clear a bed. It felt like most of them just wanted to get to the end of their shift, like someone does at Walmart. They had to bring in a specialist wordsmith sales lady to peer pressure me to leave because it seems like they aren't allowed to tell you to leave. She said we don't want you to feel like you have to leave. I told her yeah you don't want me to FEEL like I have to leave but that doesn't change the fact that you want me to leave. She didn't say anything in response.The best part is that I asked the original nurse how long it would be okay to stay and she said around 8 or 9 (pm) so I said okay I'll stay until 9 then. Later, another person tried to get me to leave around 3pm and he asked me what my ideal situation looked like. I said ideally I would want to stay overnight to be near the nurses in case any complications arose but I said I understand that isn't possible so staying until 9 would be fine. That was when they had the specialist lady peer pressure me to leave at 430 and I gave up because clearly no one was gonna help me further anyways. They probably would've just let me die if any complications arose so they could just get me out of there.Edit: P.S. there is a nurse named Hailey in the post op area. She's the best nurse I've ever had. Bellin doesn't deserve her.

My mother passed away last night. I would like to thank the whole staff in the ICU for doing such an amazing job. I give a special thanks to a RN named Katie H who stayed 6 hours beyond her 12 hour shift doing everything she could. If theres a such thing as an angel it would be her. I would love to get in contact and thank u. What a great place. I hope im lucky enough to transition to the next world as peaceful as my mother did.

Having been a patient of Bellin for over 30 years, I have to leave. The leadership has put such a strangle hold on the providers they can no longer request exception to policies and procedures. Bellin has adopted the philosophy that the information received from CMS and Medicare is doctrine and not guidance.I had received great care from my provider team for the better part of 20 years. Unfortunately, I was also able to watch them become more and more controlled by administration and began to accept status quo regarding treatment of customers. I actually heard a rumor from a staff member that the doctors were encouraged by leadership to get patients with chronic conditions to quit or leave Bellin.I was told that two of the treatments I was receiving would no longer be able to be continued due to CMS opining that aspects of my treatment were no longer required, and that Medicare shared this view. Additionally, staff informed me that insurance would not cover a portion of the treatment. Therefore, they would not perform any of the treatment even if I paid out of pocket for the non-covered portion.After a long search, checking with a legal advisor and a leader at the insurance company, I found this denial untrue. I went to a separate provider from a different agency. My procedures were conducted, with everything approved by insurance and Medicare.Do not trust everything you are told. Always check around. The reason Bellin gets away with this? There is no way to challenge them.

this morning, I got to my disabled sons room, room 404. And this is what I found, He has his glasses on now, but they were on the tray, The TV was off. He was Slouched in the bed. Who wants to sit like that for approximately an hour hour and a half? Thatu2019s CNA said she helped him with breakfast at approximately 8 ou2019clock, I ordered breakfast at seven. Iu2019m not sure if it was on time or itu2019s set for an hour before she got to himu2026.Grace B. Was The young CNA. He was not washed up his teeth were not brushed. He was slouched in the bedu2026. Rick is Mentally challenged like a five-year-old Thatu2019s easy to see. Itu2019s ridiculous that he was given breakfast and forgotten. Iu2019d hate to see what happened if I wouldnu2019t shown up at all today. If it was one of her family members, Iu2019m quite sure she would not be happy. We should not have to be with our patient 24 seven to ensure proper care!!

January 14th 2025, Great staff everything was so professional, smiles from the transport Guy to the surgeon. Made my surgery very worry free. Keep up the great work.
