Sleep study very effective! The scheduler said to arrive with clean dry hair. After arrival, they have to put a gel like substance in your hair to maintain the wire leads that go on your head, neck, face and legs. I was having an EEG and an EKG so hence the wiring. I was concerned about this but the lady technician was wonderful and walked through next steps. The ceiling fan effectively cooled the room. The bed was comfortable as were the four pillows. I had to get a mask placed during the night and they did a full mask because I couldnu2019t just breathe through my nose due to nasal congestion. The tech was very on the ball so to speak. The only thing I would change is after discharge. I think ladies should be allowed to exit through the front door not a sidewalk. The sidewalk is lit but there were people in cars sitting on the side when I left. Our safety should be as important as the study.

If I could give zero stars I would. Came here several years ago for excessive daytime sleepiness to the point that I nearly fell asleep on my motorcycle. Felt horrible every day no matter how much I slept. They ordered 2 at home sleep studies and despite being positive for sleep apnea, I was told that it was too mild to treat and to work on my sleep hygiene. Fast forward to now and I get a lab study when I moved to Maryland. Confirmed mild obstructive sleep apnea with AHI of 12. Doctor took the time to put a camera down my nose and also confirmed that the back of my tongue was too thick and my soft palate collapses easily. Was also told that 'mild' OSA only refers to the number of events per hour, but can still have severe side effects. They immediately wrote me a script for a CPAP and I feel like a new person. Blood pressure is down, no more stimulants, and my anxiety has decreased immensely. I cried the first morning I woke up because I couldn't remember ever feeling well rested and awake. Long story short, I had to suffer for another 5 years, lose a relationship, and nearly lose several jobs because I continued to be unable to stay awake due to no treatment. Extremely angry at this place for brushing off my symptoms. If you want to get help, go elsewhere. Better yet, go to a blue state. The healthcare and insurance is infinitely better.

UPDATE:nThe technician who performed my sleep study/titration was extremely friendly. He was very pleasant and progressional.nnOriginal Review:nThis clinic has nice people working in it. I don't have any issues with the staff themselves, so this isn't personal. The receptionist was extremely friendly. The APRN was well educated and communicated with us effectively. But when you close early on Fridays and can't be reached after 3pm on any other weekdays, then it seems like the clinic wants to see as few patients as possible. What's more, the sleep lab (where overnight studies are conducted) is booked out FOR MONTHS. My appointment in early August landed me a potential Sleep Study date in Late October, unless I was willing to drive to a completely different town and have their clinic perform my sleep study. THEN, all of a sudden, when I call and ask for my overnight sleep study to be conducted in-home (shorter wait period), all of a sudden, there's a cancellation at the Fort Smith location for the next day. This place wants as few patients as possible to be seen. They want to drag the process out and get as much money as possible and it's extremely hard to recommend this place to anyone who might even potentially have sleep apnea or any other sleep disorder. You probably won't find relief for months. The main clinical Doctor doesn't even live in Fort Smith. He lives in Tulsa, where his main clinic is. So he's not here to see anybody, it's just his staff that are responsible for that. If you can find some other facility that is faster, don't waste your time here. It will be extremely slow.
