I'm disappointed to have to do this here, I tried to look all around the website for a way to email the business or anyone of importance and there was nothing but the phone and fax number. And I really no longer have the energy to speak to anyone on the phone.I was in today around 2ish with my 5 year old son. He was complaining about ear pain after battling a cold like virus all week, tell tale signs of an ear infection or one brewing. Within the 5 minutes of picking him up from school and arriving at the urgent care his pain progressed, by the time he was in the exam room he was in the worst pain I have ever seen him in, screaming and crying. I felt completely helpless. One great thing about today is how quickly he was able to get in.The first thing the provider said to me was He hasn't had anything for pain? In a concerning tone, which for 1 I can understand because my child was in pain clearly. But I just explained I picked him up from school and had brought him straight there, I guess I should've expressed louder how he wasn't crying like this when I picked him up but I was a little thrown off by the judgmental look I had gotten. She looked in his affected ear and couldn't determine an infection and seemed very unclear with what was wrong with him - as was I. Anyway, while hesitant he was still prescribed an antibiotic which was great but still left me extremely concerned about why he was in so much pain. I have witnessed him with many ear infections, nothing like this.So basically, I ended up just calling his regular PCP office and was able to get him seen later around 4:30 and turns out my son has a perforated ear drum.I had told our provider at Urgent Care (believe she introduced herself as Crystal?) that he had a history of failing amoxicillin for ear infections in the past and they had prescribed him something stronger but I couldn't remember the name. Instead of helping me figure it out she seemed annoyed with me for not remembering and said something like you don't have a pharmacy app and cant look it up while making a scrolling motion with her hands. At this point I was annoyed, we seemed to have found ourselves going back and forth so I just shut my mouth and was like sure yea amoxicillin is fine because I just didn't have the energy for it, my son just wanted to go home and the pain to stop. So I just got him out of there, I didn't even want to keep him waiting to finish the paperwork.Thankfully after his pediatrician very quickly seeing the issue, he is now taking the correct antibiotic as well as drops for the impacted ear.I'm angry and upset and personally embarrassed I have to complain so publicly but do better. Maybe listen to the parents better and understand that they already feeling helpless and terrible for their child and that's why they are there in the first place, so you can help them. I very much appreciate them giving my son pain reliever but I left that building feeling more defeated than I did going in.I very much respect that medical professionals know more than I do, they worked really had for a really long time in order to know more than I do. I understand they work long hours and experience a large population of different personalities a day. I sympathize with that. But this should not have been missed. At the end of the day I don't care how anyone perceived the interaction, if I'm sounding like a dramatic mom that's fine. But a burst ear drum should have been caught while we were there. And I'm just disappointed because I have had really good experiences with this particular urgent care location in the past. I understand you're busy people but a child was in pain needing your help and you couldn't give it just an extra 5 minutes to give the ear another look or a better one to see the real problem. I just hope this can be a reminder that bedside manner is still important even if the patient is a child and the one you are communicating with is their worried mother. And yes you are an urgent care , but remember your patients are people not numbers.

went multiple times and each time the staff were hanging afround in the back where the reception is. Both times the wait was over 1 hour and they said they had 1-2 providers. You never see a doctor here0 just PAs. I was disgusted and left. All the urgent cares in the area suck with long wait times especially after check in so they can bill for time waiting with no service provided.

The wait was excellent. The Nurse that checked me in was compassionate and caring. However, the APRN who treated me made me feel like I was wasting her time. I was referred there by the on-call staff at my PCP office for concerns about pain w/ my fracture. She said, Your hand is in a splint . What is it that you expect me to do for you? You'll have to go to the ER or follow up w/ your PCP Monday I only went there because I was advised to. Her compassion/

Dr. Reiko Johnson is amazing I have been three times... She had patience with my daughter also looked into everything that might be wrong... Ran test she thought was necessary. She was also understanding of being a mom and it being annoying keep coming back for the same issue. She was kind enough to give me preventitive medicine so if it happened again I wouldn't have to come back. The man Dr we saw was nice but so quick seemed in rush and as a patient you don't want to feel rush. The wait was like 30 min but of course on a Friday night.... What do you expect still better then a wait in ER. The secretary's were nice and said how great I was with keeping my daughter calm.. if you come here definitely ask for Dr Johnson really kind and nice.

Not a very good place for urgent care. Wait time is too long sometimes. Doctors seems to rush all the time. Will not go there again.
