My husband and I are on our honeymoon, and I was beginning to feel symptoms of bronchitis. It got so bad to the point of me passing out that we decided to go to urgent care. The staff was incredibly accommodating, the nurses were sweet and the doctor was very kind. I had to get an IV which took awhile (because of the drip) but we were in and out in no time. We have no regrets about using this urgent care and I feel 150% better!

Wonderful, Wonderful, Wonderful!! I've known Dr. Gonis for a long time but only recently had to use his services. I went today (Saturday) as a new patient and was in and out in less than an hour! Turns out I have strep throat so he gave me an rx and off I went.My husband HATES the Dr but felt so crappy last week that he went. Sure beats the ER, less money and much quicker. Dr. Gonis is an excellent diagnostician!Highly recommend!

Unfortunately I cant give a very good review!!!My daughter (19 yrs old) was having pain in her stomach and asked me to meet her at the urgent care. I told her to go here because of the reviews that I read.When we went there, and she was called back, they refused to let me go back with her even though she was wanting me to be with her. I complained to the office staff saying it is inappropriate when she was asking for me to go with her. After the Dr saw her they then let me back there. The Dr. came back in and gave me a brief description that she needs surgery for an umbilical hernia. He then said I understand you have a complaint I told him yes I did and told him how I felt and my reasons why. I told him Sure I know it is the privacy thing!! He said no it wasn't. His reason was that he doesn't like having anyone in the room so that he can get only the patients story not anyone else's.. I say what does he have to hide? With the way things are in this current day and age I prefer to even have my husband or someone with me when I meet a new Dr. To many stories these days where the people you think you can trust, you can't!! Unfortunately, the Dr did not make me feel comfortable with him and my daughter felt the same when she had him in the room with her alone. There are so many 'rules' to protect the Dr. but what about the patient!!! We wont be going back to that Dr. We come from Naples and have had a Dr there for many years who makes you feel like family and who you know you can trust!!! I see it will be difficult making a transition to a doctor in Cape Coral!!!

This was a terrible experience for my family. We went to Urgent Care Demetrios Goins instead of the ER for my wife's cough. She was also having severe pain in her side from the cough. The doctor was rude, hardly spent any time with my wife, and suggested that she stupid for even going in to see him. I don't have any of the equipment I need to treat you, he said. You just need to leave and go to the ER.I'd rather wait three hours or more at the hospital than go back to Urgent Care again.

I owe my life to Dr. Gonis. I first went to another facility with strange symtoms and was told that I was depressed. Dr. Gonis was very thorough and really listened to me. He found out that I had a staghorn calculous in my kidney. I wound up having surgery to remove my kidney. If I would have listened to the other Doctor things may not have turned out as well. Having a Kidney issue is a little different than being depressed. He and his staff are absolutely amazing! They have just the right mix of compassion and professionalism! I would recommend Dr. Gonis (and have) to anyone I know.
