Iu2019ve been going here majority of my life- so I canu2019t really say anything bad except for what I had to deal with yesterday. I get my birth control shot every 3 months, the 28th was my u201cdue dateu201d so to speak. I had no idea how bad it was going to be- so I didnu2019t make an appointment, and on that note Iu2019ve never had to make an appointment because they donu2019t even give me my shot. They donu2019t do bc shots at the clinic (or at least thatu2019s what Iu2019ve been told the past 4 times Iu2019ve been), I went purely to get them to give the OK to Walgreens for the prescription. I waited an hour, no surprise there, but when the nurse called me back as soon as we got into the room, she says u201cyou need to start making appointments. Walk ins are only for sick people. I get youu2019re 18 but you HAVE TO BE BETTER at planning this. We are 2 hours behind!u201d Again, there was never an issue with me being a walk in before, since Iu2019m not actually sick and just need them to send my prescription over to Walgreens. And overall the way she said it was just really not ok. She tried to play it off with u201cwe donu2019t want you sitting with all those sick people,u201d they only have one lobby though? So where else would I have gone even with an appointment? Then dr. Copeland came in and said the same thing u201cyou need to start making appointments!!u201d Then proceeds with u201cwho is normally your doctor? What are you here for? Do you have the refill with you? Iu2019m sorry Iu2019m asking so many questions, itu2019s just Iu2019ve NEVER heard of us doing this.u201d Iu2019ve officially been on birth control for a year, each refill was recorded and sent from this clinic. And If i had the refill I wouldnu2019t have been in the office. On top of that she didnu2019t ask me any questions regarding my health, how I was doing on the the birth control, side affects, nothing. Then she says u201cif you made an appointment I bet you wouldnu2019t even have to come in, we could just send it over,u201d which yeah thatu2019d be greatu2026 but wouldnu2019t they have mentioned that option within the year of me getting the shot? Thankfully I got my shot and injection with no problems, but yeah. Maybe if you have medical priorities other then illness and donu2019t feel the need to make an appointment for it, donu2019t go on or after holidays. And I understand that some of the other people were actually sick, but I know for a fact I didnu2019t get priority and waste resources BECAUSE I was a walk in. Maybe Iu2019m at fault here and Iu2019m just ignorant to it, but yeah. At the end of the day, I know that if if I was with my mom or someone with me, they wouldnu2019t have talked to me like how they did.

They have the worst communication. You have to call multiple times just to continuously speak to the front desk and never to the actual provider. You only speak the nurse and doctor when you go to an appointment. The front desk clerk leaves messages that the nurse barely gets back to you on.

Dr. Copeland made me cry. Every other worker I came into contact with at my visit was kind. The doctor seemed annoyed that I was even there and questioned me in such a way that she made me feel like I was absolute scum. I donu2019t understand why this happened as I had never met her until that visit. 140$ to be treated like I was less than and told to go else where. Iu2019m sorry if she thought I was wasting her time. I was just looking for help.
