Generally, Iu2019m not big on leaving reviews, but today changed that. I walked into urgent care and was greeted by the front desk with a big smile on her face. I was then asked for my ID and insurance card and told Iu2019d be seen shortly. A few minutes went by and I was called back by Kim, not only was she very polite and professional but seemed to enjoy and be very passionate about what she does. She definitely makes the thought of being at urgent care a lot easier. Followed up by a short visit by Steele PA if every PA was like her, a few min later I was out the door. All and all todayu2019s visit was great from start to finish. All three of the ladies today did absolutely amazing job and made my visit like a vacation not a chore.

Iu2019m here now. Kristen at the front desk told me four times, she was the only person on duty, with an attitude. She told me twice to have a seat and wait, which we did. My cousin was ill. While waiting another person walked in, Kristen ignored us, took several minutes with the guy who came in after us to u201cmake an appointmentu201d. When I asked her if I should have stayed in line, she said u201cIu2019m the only one hereu201d, which I acknowledged she had told me. I asked why she took the person who came in after us, before us, she said with a definite bad attitude, u201c Iu2019m making him an appointmentu201d, to which I said, fine, but my cousin is ill and we were waiting per her instructions BEFORE the guy that walked in. She said u201ceveryone here is illu201d. I guess the guy coming in another day for his appointment was more u201cillu201d than my cousin who was there. Her attitude was arrogant, not patient oriented, totally consumed with what was to HER benefit. She ignored the ill person in front of her to do administrative appointment setting to a non-urgent customer. Funny, it say u201cUrgent Careu201d in the front of the building. If this is the best the Univ of Md can do, weu2019re in big trouble on Kent Island. I spent 45 years in healthcare at Univ of MD, Hopkins, Emory in Atlanta, Grady Hospital in Atlanta, and countless other hospitals. Kristen had the worst patient communication skills and customer service Iu2019ve ever experienced.

This place is ALWAYS amazing and the staff couldnu2019t be better. Big shout out to Courtney Sitar a nurse practitioner that saw my daughter. Courtney was awesome. Not only was she amazing with my daughter she was very knowledgeable, supportive, and caring. Had such a great experience today. I went into the office with prolonged allergic reaction symptoms ...everyone was very friendly and helpful. Sue Steele, Pa-c listened and prescribed me exactly what I needed to fight the symptoms I was feeling. Highly recommend this location for all your urgent care needs
