DO NOT COME HERE. I walked into this urgent care crying, in pain, scared, and completely vulnerable. I told them I had severe lower back pain, chills, a high feveru2014and they didnu2019t even take a urine sample. I had to ask them to check my oxygen levels. They told me to just keep taking Tylenol and sent me home. I had a 104 fever and they didnu2019t even blink.nnSomething in me knew that wasnu2019t right. I trusted my gut and went to another urgent care that same day. There, they took me seriously. They ran tests. They found that I had a kidney infection from a UTI that had been completely overlooked. I was told that if I hadnu2019t gotten a second opinion, the infection could have spread further and turned life-threatening. I couldu2019ve died if I ignored my symptoms.nnI donu2019t know what wouldu2019ve happened if I had listened to the first urgent care. Iu2019m writing this because no one who walks in crying and begging for help should be brushed off like that. I felt invisible. Please, please do better. Peopleu2019s lives are in your hands.

Do not come here.nnI had a minor issue thinking I may have a piece of glass stuck in my foot. I showed up asking for an xray to confirm because I tried digging it out myself twice and couldnu2019t find it. On the phone they confirmed they have an xray machine and itu2019s working so I went for a visit.nnI showed up, the guy claims he u201cseesu201d my piece of glass and ends up digging through my foot for half an hour or so without anesthetic to take it out. At one point I ask again u201chow about we take that xray to make sure thereu2019s something in there?u201d u201cSureu201d he says and we go to take an xray. He then continues to dig through my foot without saying anything - I ask u201cWhat did the xray show?u201d u201cNothing, our xray is broken,u201d he admits and continues to dig through my foot.nnObviously, my issue wasnu2019t resolved and caused me a decent deal of discomfort through the process, plus the month that followed. Even after the wound he created healed, something continued bothering me in the foot. I went to a proper doctor - their xray didnu2019t reveal a piece of glass in there and he immediately diagnosed this as a persistent common infection thatu2019s now being teated completely differently.nnTo top it all off UMD also mailed me a $30 bill and charged the insurance company even more.nnTo reiterate, do not come here. Go visit another urgent care center or even better - go to a proper specialist.

I confirmed they had a boot I could receive for my sprained ankle and waited 30 minutes for the appointment. I then was told after an hour of being there they had no boots and they could give me an ankle wrap, which I already had one on when I got there. The doctor wouldnu2019t speak to my face and made the nurse play telephone with me to tell me how they did not have boots. This place is a complete waste of time and money - donu2019t go.

Although the urgent care center was about to close, the doctor on call accepted to see me for a suspicious fracture/dislocation of my shoulder. The radiologist immediately x-rayed my injured arm. I had indeed a subluxation and they sent a prescription for pain killers at the nearby pharmacy and wrote a referral for me to see an orthopedist.nThey were very professional and nice. They sent me the records and the referral by email.nI can highly recommend this UMD urgent care center on Driggs ave, Brooklyn.

Went for a suspected broken toe. They x-ray and say. Yep. Broken canu2019t do anything here but good luck.nnNo suggestions of anything. Not even stay off it, ice it or take Tylenol.nnDoctor was a clown.
