Initial experience with Dr. Kastendieck was good. Front office and nurses were very nice and professional. The doc saw me quickly, explained everything well and the procedure went smoothly (I think). I brought in a sample for testing a few months later as told and that was the end of it. I never found out the results of my test or if the procedure was successful. It has been months and I have called many times, no one answers the phone or calls back. I am now looking for a new doctor who can finish the job.

I am changing my review from a one star to a five star. I see Sonia Armijo, and she is an excellent doctor. She has really listened to me and has cared for me more than any physician Iu2019ve seen in my life, and Iu2019ve been able to feel better because of her advice and her care. The phones here have given me a ton of trouble, and in the past itu2019s been difficult to refill prescriptions and get a hold of the office, but they have recently hired new people and changed the system. Janet is lovely and has worked with me on making sure my care is affordable, and that I get what I need no matter what. I am really grateful to have a doctor I trust, and to know that my issues are solvable and that someone who knows what sheu2019s doing cares enough to help me.

My husband and I were patients of Sonia Armijo. I tried to make an appointment and was told she left. I was then told they weren't taking patients. However, my husband was getting a medication perscibed to him that you can't cold turkey off of. When he runs out guess he'll have to do just that. I didn't even know it was legal to just drop a patient who was being prescribed meds. Still need to find him a doctor (which is impossible because Santa Fe.)

Unity is the cherry on the cake of Santa Fe's atrocious healthcare. Dr. Kastendiek spent a recent appointment selling his Concierge program (#1800 a year) to ensure that I was seen immediately and given top priority. This from a doctor who misdiagnosed shingles. For the past two years I have seen Sonia Armijo his nurse practitioner who diagnosed my heart condition--that is when I could make an appointment since their phone and scheduling system are a joke. Sonia has now left the clinic and no one has called to cancel my next appointment with her! I am now looking for a GP in Albuquerque.
