I was really looking forward to supporting this business as a new patient, especially as a Black woman who values supporting Black-owned practices. Unfortunately, my experience was incredibly disappointing.nnI originally scheduled an OB appointment but needed to reschedule about two weeks in advance. I called and spoke with the receptionist, who said their system was down but would call me back once it was up again. She took my name and number and assured me Iu2019d hear back. A couple of days went by and no one called, so I tried calling againu2014three times in one day, and again three times the next. No one answered.nnSince I couldnu2019t get through, I went online and tried to cancel my appointment through their portal. I thought the cancellation went through, only to later receive a call saying I missed my appointment and would be charged a $50 fee. I explained everythingu2014how I had called multiple times, was told I'd be called back, and had tried to cancel onlineu2014but the admin told me they u201chave to follow protocolu201d and that I should have kept calling until someone answered, even though she also acknowledged that their phones were down.nnThat response honestly blew me away. Iu2019m not someone who misses appointments for funu2014I had every intention of rescheduling and made multiple efforts to do so. Iu2019m new to their online system and genuinely thought I had cancelled properly. The way this was handled felt dismissive, lacked accountability, and was just plain unprofessional. Itu2019s unfortunate, but I wonu2019t be returning or recommending them based on this experience.

Went in today to go over questions before surgery as well as giving my numbers for my average glucose levels, and Dr. Simms(NP) was so relieved and excited for me to send those numbers in to Dr.Cross. I been seeing Dr. Cross and Dr.Simms since February of this year on getting me ready for my surgery. When I came in my blood pressure was so high til she had to have an honest talk to me on work that needed to be done before can operate. Both doctors have so much care for their patients and explains everything to the fullest to ensure they have your back and that they will do whatever needs to be done to get you where you need to be. Effective today April 3, 2025 Im where I need to be. I recommend her service to any and everyone. Her staff such as the referral lady, the MA and the Manager over the front desk Gloria whom are just Amazing. I will say this. Ms. Gloria is just one person if she don't respond by the end of the day but let me tell you, she gets the job done and calls you back and make sure your taken care of. With a staff like this to show so much passionate for every patient that walk in deserves to get kudos for just caring. Professionalism, caring, loyal to the commitment they give and trust which shows and goes a long ways with me. Thank you ALL for you dedication and commitment.

Dr. Cross has been amazing. Recommended by my PCP. As I was seeing Kelsey Seybol but they change doctors every year it seems.nAnyways, I took all my documents and biopsy ext to Dr. Cross for 2nd opinion. She was so nice!! She answered all my questions and got me in for surgery in Nov. All within a month. Today itu2019s been 4 months and I feel great. Issues I was having are gone. Now I will see her soon for my annual pap!!

I wasnu2019t completely satisfied with my visit because I was a first time patient and saw the NP. The NP was nice and knowledgeable, but as first time patient my preference wouldu2019ve been to see the doctor and build rapport there and then push out to the NP if necessary. I was not informed at the time of scheduling that it was a day that Dr. Cross would be in surgery. The NP did ask if I wanted to come back and see Dr. Cross, but the drive had been made at that point. I think itu2019s important for the front desk to relay to patients upfront that the may see the NP if their appointment is on a surgical day. The staff were friendly and I would be interested in returning for care and meeting Dr. Cross.

I have been seeing Dr Cross for 7 years and have always received the best customer service. Itu2019s nice to see that members of her team (crystal for sure) have been consistent since my very first appointment. Recently Iu2019ve met her nurse practitioner who is extremely knowledgeable and kind. I love how relaxing the lobby area is and how quick the lab is to get you in and out. No office is perfect but I really love how caring this team is. They even remember my children when they come in and go above and beyond to make me feel comfortable with having to have them with me for my appointment.
