I am a veteran and have my insurance through TRICARE East (prime). I had a recent URGENT care visit, which went great. But, I have now been billed as having had a Dr's visit, not an urgent care visit. Now the name on the building says URGENT CARE. However in the state of Alabama they have a contract without the ability to bill URGENT CARE.There is no notice as to the FACT there is no urgent care billing at the point of service.So the sign out front is at a minimum misleading. I feel as if I have been taken advantage of. I do not recommend any TRICARE patients use this business.If you have any veterans in your circles please let them know. I guess it's okay to pull this in Alabama.

AFC corporate out to lunch..I attempted three times to reach the corporate office. An automated recording stated they were out to lunch till 2 p.m.CST. All three calls were after this window of time. I called the AFC Ft. Oglethorpe, Ga. I spoke with the nurse Cam. She answered the phone & did AFC corporates job! Corporate needs to take notes from Ft. O clinic.

I would like a corporate person to actually call me. I have been going to AFC for years in Alcoa TN. Dr Payne is great. The staff are horrible to the point I actually want to talk to a person in corporate before I pursue this matter farther.

Every visit Iu2019ve had in the past two years they treat you like youu2019re a brand new patient and you have to fill out information all over again. They are a machine with no personal service. It did not used to be this way

Just hung up with David(manager). Seriously, how in the world people can be so knuckleheads. Called them to tell them they leave an error on the system and that the full amount was paid by 5/2/24. The manager refuse to look into it as why they received the money and they are still trying to collect a debt that does not exist. The claim got to my Heilth provider on 4/30/24. On 5/1/24, they closed out and on 5/2/24, my HRA (Health Reimbursment Account/ account that Pay out any balance) pay the exact amount of 153.38. I told them to look into it. But clearly they just want to keep mortifying the clients. So easy to go into the system and verify the full amount that was paid and close the account. Hopefully, they made David call with an apology. Didn't want to write my statements even when I told him that he can write whatever he wants after my statement. Definitely, will contact the Health Insurance, but companies like this and people like this are the real problem.
