The nurse and physician were great and helpful. The only issue was the secretary who was very, to put it kindly, flat/annoyed. She did her job fine, just came across like an attitude. I do wish I would have asked the physician for better notes in writing what to do. I got a copy of the bill but I assumed the discharge papers/notes would be with that. So that last part is on me. Overall, we were seen very quickly, wasn't a crazy high bill (no insurance for us), and we got what we needed.

I would come here over any other clinic or Emergency Room! The office staff are very friendly. The providers are efficient, knowledgeable, and have many years of experience in urgent care and in the emergency room. They are equipped to do X-rays on site and you will have your results in minutes, laboratory capabilities, EKG (heart monitoring), stitches, and most of your acute care needs.If I could give 10 stars I would! If you're sick, injured, or are sick, this should be your first place to go! They can evaluate you and if they deem it necessary, they will send you to the appropriate location whether that is the ER or a specialist! I trust Christy Kelley APN and Dr. Christie Foster with my life, the life of my children, and my grandchildren wholeheartedly! Their vast array of knowledge and experience make them far more superior than their local competitors. Mt. Vernon is lucky to have this facility as an alternative!

My wife came in on Saturday just before 5:00 with a medical issue. She was prescribed medication to help take care of the issue. The attendant said they were going to call it in to the pharmacy immediately.As it turned out, no call was placed to our pharmacy. We went to every pharmacy in town to see if the script was ordered from a wrong one.I had to call back Sunday at noon when they opened to see what happened. As we already knew, no script was called in! My wife had to go almost another full day without the medication she needed.I might suggest an end of day check list with the 1st check off being, Did all scripts get called to correct pharmacy. Then the person closing each day must sign off.To say the least, Not a happy camper!
