Was not a fan at all went in with a sinus infection and was told we will not give you any medication there's nothing wrong with you go home and take a cold tablet. Wound up in the hospital 6 days later. PA on duty kept apologizing for not being able to give out meds as they are being monitored by upper management.Sad.

PUBLIC NOTICE: This organization has been purchased by UPMC, and is no longer owned by the same people.UPMC decided to make some major changes with no notice whatsoever to the general public.I paid for a random drug screening I'm required to obtain when requested. 5 days ago, I was told UPMC suddenly shortened the drug test hours to before 3pm, and reserved later hours for sick patients. Okay, no big deal.Fast forward 3 days after a 48 hour, 8 snowstorm we had, and I get a chance to go back in, before 3pm. I am informed UPMC cut drug tests completely, suddenly, without notice.I asked to speak to a supervisor, or someone higher up the chain, and someone from the back informed me they don't have a number. I asked who they call with any major issues, and she said they had no one. She also made little effort whatsoever to help take care of the issue, and although it wasn't her decision, her customer service was terrible. So now I gotta figure out who has my money, get it refunded, and pay for a different one somewhere else. This is a classic example of how the right hand and the left hand don't communicate, people get crapped on, and big pharma cares more about money than it does serving the population.

New patient, new area, we're from out of state. Brought my son in for an urgent, yet non-emergency situation right before their closing time on the weekend night. From first appearance, the facility is very clean and modern. The friendly staff at the reception desk greeted and registered us right away. We were called back about 5 minutes later to triage where the nurses were friendly and showed concern. We were then brought to our room which was clean and what you'd expect from a health care facility. The doctor arrived 5 minutes later, extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. She performed a thorough exam, ran labs, asked many questions, and explained in detail my child's ailment. She performed some lab work to confirm the Dx, and prescribed appropriate medication to cure the illness. As a mom and registered MA, the whole experience was better than what I would expect from an urgent care facility. Thanks MedExpress for being so helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable during our out of town, unexpected medical situation.

Not sure which one this review is for still do both mine and my husbands. I came to med express with my foot swollen suspecting a break, or sprain. The doctor was more concerned about the knot on my leg where I'd broken my fibula 20 years ago. My foot was swollen, and I didn't understand that he had done a series of x rays on my ankle not my foot which was swollen not my ankle. Seriously disappointed with this doctors however, the girls who took my information were very nice and helpful. As for my husbands visit, the doctor called in a medicine that the pharmacy didn't have, I called back to med express to ask them to call in a different medicine (ear drop) and they told me I could call around to other pharmacies and see if they carried it. This medication was called in, I had no clue what the name of the medicine was, as my husband hadn't been issued a prescription dosage or anything else. It was quite frustrating. Then the pharmacist tells me as I'm on the phone with Ned express the doctor called in a different medicine. The lack of communication between everyone made it very frustrating considering my husband was in a great deal of pain from swimmers ear.
