In May of 2024, my husband and I relocated to Texas from Indiana. I needed a new doctor, so my in laws suggested this place. At first, it was great! Dr. Karina Owen is amazing. She listened and cares. If you go here, ask for her. Then, I had to see Dr. Neel. Again, amazing Doctor. THEN Karina went on Maternity leave, and I got this new guy filling in for her. He's rude, interrupts me and makes me feel like what I'm saying isn't correct. I've been advocating for my health since I was 11. I know when something isn't right. I left my appointment feeling so unheard. I left. About a week later (after finding a mental health facility willing to take my insurance), I needed a referral. I called and the front desk told me they would let the referral coordinator know. I called back TWO days later just to be told, I needed to make an appointment. So I made the appointment. I go to the appointment only for the doctor to act like what I'm asking for is crazy. I asked for a referral and he said he would do it. Days go by and I don't have the referral, meaning I have to cancel my appointment a SECOND time, drive to the clinic and WAIT in the lobby until someone does something. Then, I get home, to get a call, saying my PCP isn't right and I need to change it, so the referral can't be submitted. Why did no one tell me this until NOW???? INCOMPETENCE AT ITS FINEST. As soon as I find another doctor, I'm cutting them loose. Don't go here if you need care. They don't care and it shows.

Nurses are very professional. Listening to your concerns and spending extra time assisting patients. The place was pretty busy, but enjoyed being able to sit outside on the front porch while waiting. The doctor was very nice and listened to my concerns

9:00 appt with Dr Emily Meyer. Arrived 12 minutes late due to total hip replacement exactly 7 days ago & on walker. It was all I could do to get dressed & drive there. I was told promptly that Dr Meyer would not be able to see me, since I was late & Iu2019d have to reschedule. Nowhere did I see a sign nor was ever told about this new policy? I asked if she would ask Dr Emily if she would make an exception due to my recent surgical condition. Promptly came back and her asst said u201cNo.u201d Unbelievable. No compassion whatsoever. Last 3 encounters with Dr Emily Meyeru2019s office they were not able to handle a pre-surgical clearance. Was upset about those visits as well. Messaged Dr Neal and no reply. Suppose I got my replyu2026in other words, Go away, we donu2019t care about you, we donu2019t want your business and weu2019re not in the business of helping people? This is how I feel. Am very disappointed in a clinic run by such an esteemed Physician. Thank you for this valuable lesson. There arenmany ways to say Goodbye. This time with a review and my hobbling feet.

My wife was very sick. We were on a camping trip she got very sick. I found this clinic by chance and Iu2019m so happy I did. The doctor, staff etc, were very pleasant. The doctor had samples taken and sent off for testing. The doctor himself called my wife the next day to tell her she has the norovirus.nThe clinic reminded me of the old country laid back style which was just what we needed at this time.nI recommend this clinic to anyone.

The front staff here are rude, short tempered and outright liars. I called to make an appointment to renew my blood pressure medication. I asked to see McCauley, and was told I had to see Meyers. I was surprised, because when I went in for alleged Covid a few months before, I was told she had moved to the Women's Clinic next to Walmart and no longer worked there by the receptionist AND the person I saw for my flu-like illness. The lady became very rude and told me she had never moved. She then said they'd call back, and they never did. I found a new clinic.nnFast forward to today, 2-14-23. My parents use this clinic because they love their practitioner. My father was dizzy, and they called to see their practitioner, who was not available until the 28th. They asked to see someone else, and they told them the insurance would not pay if they switched doctors, which was a bald faced lie. They have a United plan that let's them see any doctor and doesn't even register a Primary Care like mine, but they would have believed them if I hadn't had them call their insurance to check it. The receptionist tried to make them come into the Urgent Care side, which I'm afraid is the point, because Urgent Care patients pay more. Honestly, lying about benefits to force them to use more expensive services sure sounds like fraud, and if it isn't, it should be.nnClinic used to be great, but looking at other reviews, I'd find someplace else.nnUpdate 2/2025: My parents were in an accident. They called to make an appointment due to neck/back pain. They said they won't see them because they don't take third-party insurance. We called their insurance, and they said they would cover treatment for the accident anywhere. A quick Google search shows this is typically the case. This place will lie to you about your benefits and basic insurance questions to avoid inconvenience. Huge red flag.
