Dr. Peterson is very thorough in his patients care. He is very professional and at the same time very personable. I trust him to take care of my health concerns.

Dr. Uy and his staff were phenomenal. This was our first experience with urgent care, the wait time short. The staff showed compassion. Tanja was great with my little boy. We will be back for any future Urgent care needs.

The provider came in kept calling my 12 yr old son a girl. Which I thought wow super observant. He did the usual ear, throat, lung, and heart exam before talking discharge orders. When he was u201cgoing overu201d the treatment plan my son was having a coughing fit so I didnu2019t hear much of what he was saying. I asked if he could repeat it to which he turned around asking if I had any questions while walking out the door. What really made me laugh was he was rushing us out the room to be checked out as if he spent extra time with usu2026he was in the room at most 2 minutes max. Although our wait time was probably over an hour for sure. I only came here because it was the only in network urgent care open. I can only assume the swab they did is negative because it wasnu2019t addressed. I donu2019t think he was rude or anything like that, but his overall bedside manner needs some work. There are so many negative things I can say about this 2 minute visit then there are positive. The staff were great though.

Wife came here for a medical exam, drove the two hours each way to get here. Finish the exam and they tell us the doctor is out of the country and can't process the papers so we have to come back next week.nnCome back next week and told she now has to get an x-ray for a lab result that came back positive, claimed they couldn't tell us over the phone because it's illegal (obvious lie), so had to pay $130 out of pocket for an x-ray since they don't take insurance. It's been 1.5 hours we've been here for what should have been a 15-30 minute appointment. They made the appointment for 8:30 am but the doctor doesn't even come in until 9 am. This place does not respect your time or money.

I made an appointment for an annual wellness checkup and when I got to the office before my appointment time, the front desk took my new insurance and later claimed they were having problems processing it (but they didnu2019t let me know until over an hour later when I complained that so many people who arrived after me were seen first. They have signs all around the clinic saying appointments take priority). I later found out from the clinical manager that they were processing the wrong insurance the whole time. I asked to see a different doctor since it was taking so long and they said they didnu2019t have any rooms available. Any time I asked what was going on or how much longer it would be they would say, u201cI donu2019t know.u201d I complained again after yet another patient who had an appointment over an hour after mine went back and somehow they immediately had a room available. The clinical manager Tanja Cardenas came into the room not knowing anything about my appointment or any of my information and tried to have me seen for a totally unrelated consultation even though I told them when I scheduled the appointment and in the office at the front desk that I was there for an annual visit. I told them I tried to make an appointment online and got denied because the doctor was out of the country. I called and got a new appointment with email and text confirmation. The clinical manager was unaware of all of that and came into the room with all the wrong information, not even bothering to fact check. The clinical manager, Tanja Cardenas racially profiled and infantilized me. She yelled and was very disrespectful. She spoke over me throughout the whole conversation and she had a very condescending attitude. She was extremely rude from the beginning and would not acknowledge that she and her staff are incompetent and did not communicate with me about anything that was going on at all. I was in the room by myself speaking on the phone and she barged in saying I was too loud and I was u201cscaring children in the officeu201d (in a retaliatory manner) after she was informed that she didnu2019t have any of the information correct regarding my visit. I wasnu2019t doing anything volatile or speaking of violent acts or being threatening in any way in an empty room by myself with the door closed. She was very crass and unprofessional and I question her legitimacy. Dr. Uy is a good doctor. He needs more competent staff. I have also filed a complaint with the Texas Medical Board for the unprecedented level of unprofessionalism and discrimination I received.
