I am having a similar experience. I received a bill dated 07/2023, currently itu2019s February 2025. Like other complaints the bill states that there is no insurance on file. My child had full coverage insurance at the time and I provided insurance cards. When I called AED (Jennifer) , I was told my insurance had declined the bill because it was too old. I was offered a discount and told I could pay $400 to settle the bill ($400 For two Covid tests, $200 each). I refused and told Jennifer that I felt I was being scammed. She assured me it was not a scam and the bill would eventually go to collections. I still havenu2019t paid the bill, I donu2019t know what to do. How do I find out if itu2019s really a scam?

Beware of Surprise Bills!I received a bill 1.5 years after my visit, even though my insurance had already paid at the time. The amount was completely unexpected, and there were no details about what I was being charged. Additionally, the bill didnu2019t include any insurance information, which it should have. Avoid this place to prevent surprise high bills!

I wish I had seen the other reviews here before I visited. My experience unfortunately matches what others have described.I visited this urgent care center on 05/14/2023. I was extremely disappointed by their billing practices. To begin with, they sent the bill almost 18 months after my visit, which seems incredibly late and makes it difficult to recall the specifics. They initially refused to provide an itemized bill and then charged me $383 as a base charge with no explanation. This felt like a scam, especially since the billing department couldn't detail what this charge covered. When I contacted them, they were unhelpful and told me to speak with the clinic front desk. When I called, I spoke to the office manager Mr. Paul, who was rude and threatened to send my bill to collections if I didn't pay $250 in the next 10 minutes - a number that seemed to come out of thin air.I am writing this review to warn other patients about this urgent care center's billing practices. I hope that my experience will help to prevent others from encountering similar issues. I urge potential patients to be cautious and request a clear explanation of all charges before receiving any treatment.

BEWARE! Donu2019t go to this place! They lied and told me they were in-network when I made the appointment. Two YEARS later, I get hit with a massive bill because the insurance denied the claim. Turns outu2014they werenu2019t in-network at all. Now Iu2019m stuck paying over $400 for a simple flu test. Absolutely ridiculous. I wouldu2019ve gone literally anywhere else if they had just been honest. Total scammy behavior. Avoid this place unless you want surprise bills years down the line.

Totally SCAM, simply do NOT go thereIf only I can give them a negative star.Iu2019ve been in countless conversations with them, multiple in-office visit, and finally resolved a so-claimed u201cdebtu201d last year.Yet now I received a letter from them stating there was u201cinsurance erroru201d and they are charging me another $273 for it, which they didnu2019t have an explanation whatsoever. Really tired of all these nonsense, and I am not sure I should even make the payment - what if there comes a new bill asking for more money. Please kindly do NOT go there, for your own good.
