He was my (now deceased) mother's doctor. He did the bare minimum, didn't ask questions, and was avoidant when it came to hard problems.Also, just Google Dr. Andrew Mecca law and you'll see a malpractice suit against him in NY from 2000. I do not recommend if you have any chronic or serious issues.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mecca's for 5 years. Mostly it was ok. I only saw Dr. Mecca twice and worked with his PA Melissa. She was great and knowledgeable, so it did not bother me to not see the MD.However, his office staff is unorganized and ineffective. They are not quick to return pharmacy calls for refills. I have had trouble getting a real person to talk to. I have left messages that weren't returned. I did not get an appointment reminder, or notice that I missed an appointment.These last two months I had difficulty getting my prescriptions refilled due to bad office management. I wrote a detailed letter which I handed to Dr. Mecca to let him know my concerns in hopes that h e would use my constructive criticism to review their procedures. He was not interested, he talked down to me like I was a child (I am now elderly 70, so this is normal). Said I should have written my appointment down on my calendar.....which I acknowledged in my letter. He had his office manager come talk to me. She said they called but refused to see my call log proving that they didn't. According to them, I was wrong and inaccurate in all my accounts even though they refused to see my phone records to back up my letter. Other doctors I see have a more efficient staff and I have never had problems with any of them.

Went here close to 4 years ago. Had heart problems so I thought and fainted. Whoever was the man that tended to me was very annoyed I even existed. So no blood work. Like I fainted. That's absolutely bare minimum I should have sued the ** outta the whole place. Anywho, So I get a schedule to come in the next month. Well I wasn't happy with them so I went to Saint Francis heart doctor. They do blood work. And within hours I'm strapped to a bed heading to Atlanta for a very aggressive cancer that was almost too far gone.If I had listened to these so called professionals I would be 6 feet underPros: you know where not to goCons: absolutely everythingOnly doing this review years later because at the moment I'm just tired of letting bygones be bygones. Tired of people not being accountable etc and this was just on the list.

My Husband had the worst experience ever in A Doctors office a couple of weeks ago!!!! There lady nurse practitioner needs to find another line of work!!! She was horrible to my husband He was trying to talk to her and she was very rude and of course my husband got upset with her which he should not have but she should have behaved more professional as well !! If you are looking for a professional Doctoru2019s office to go too Do not Visit this place My husband had gone there before never again!! Horrible horrible experience!!!

I arrived to my appointment 15 minutes early, completed all the paperwork and waited 49 minutes to be seen. I was then informed the physicians assistant Melissa Fussel would not see me because I was late to my appointment. The front desk pulled the sign in sheet and went to inform Melissa Fussel, who still refused to treat me. Because of the incompetent staff member who informed Melissa Fussel I was late is the reason I waisted 49 minutes of my break from work is the reason I was not seen. I would NOT recommend to anyone. HORRIBLE experience and complete waist of time.
