Making an appointment was so easy. Once I got there, check-in was quick and easy. The place was clean and comfortable. Every one was kind & welcoming, from the medical assistants to the PA. The care staff is competent & efficient, and their customer service is great. I was seen fast, my concerns were heard, and I was prescribed the appropriate treatment for my symptoms. I was feeling completely better in less than 2 days. I usually go to cityMD and Iu2019ve been to a few others in the past, but this is the best urgent care I've been to so far & I plan on coming back if ever I'm sick again. I will definitely recommend others to visit this location.

I liked that you can schedule a time slot to be there. It made for a short wait to be seen. The woman at the desk was patient and helpful and Dr. Mike was thorough and knowledgeable.

Everybody was wonderful from start to finish and it all started with a greeting upon entry. The good news is my child is better today from treatment started a few days ago. I'm very grateful and highly recommend this Urgent Care.

Was sick on a Sunday night and was able to walk in at 9 p.m. and be seen. Courteous, friendly, and professional staff. The doctor showed genuine concern and was very knowledgeable but made things simple to understand. The entire experience was great. I would recommend going here.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I went in with the following symptoms: white spots on my tongue, head and nasal congestion, a sore throat, ear pain and itchiness, and difficulty swallowing. The PA, named Charise, I saw was shockingly condescending. She administered a strep test, which came back negative, and hastily diagnosed me with GERD. Without any meaningful discussion, she rushed to suggest an endoscopy and a referral to a gastroenterologist. I expressed my frustration, as it was clear to me that I had an infectionu2014after all, my throat was red, my ears were in pain, and I had visible white spots on my tongue. When she asked about my ear pain, I tried to explain that the discomfort was so deep that I instinctively attempted to relieve it by moving my tongue against the back of my throat. Her verbatim response? You know your ear is not located in your throat, right? I calmly reiterated that I understood basic anatomy but was experiencing a deep, radiating pain. Her next remarku2014What did you expect out of this appointment?u2014made it clear she had no interest in actually addressing my concerns. When I asked if any other condition could explain my symptoms, she dismissed the idea outright. At that point, I was beyond frustrated, humiliated, and still feeling incredibly sick. I left in tears, right in front of my husband and the nurse. We immediately went to Stony Brook Emergency Hospital, where thorough testing confirmed I had an infection, and I was appropriately treated with antibiotics. When I mentioned the PAu2019s comment about the ear and throat, the doctor at Stony Brook actually laughed before apologizing on her behalf. He then suggested I educate her on the Eustachian tubes, cranial nerve IX, referred pain, and the shared anatomy and nerve pathways between the throat and ears.Perhaps the PA should take a refresher course in basic medical knowledgeu2014and patient empathy.
