I just wanted to get allergy testing done. After receiving referral for an allergy consult from my pcp and month long wait, I received appointment on 2/11/25 with Dr. Karen Jackson (Allergy Lake Bluff Specialty). Karen showed up 55 minutes late to our appointment. No apology nothing. To my mind sheu2019s is doctor, she doesnu2019t need to apologize i guess. we discussed things that i did not come here for. I just needed allergy testing. I was told by Karen that, I need another appointment for this allergy testing and she needs to be present on that dayto see it in person. With great frustration I said sure (I already lost time and $$ and still didnu2019t receive care I requested), and got next appointment on 3/25/25 at 11am.nOn this day, I walked in 15 minute early as most patient do. Yancy (Medical Assistance) performed all allergy testing and read my result on her own. She did a great job professionally. At the end of 45 minutes visit, Yancy told me Dr. Karen is running late and has one more patient ahead of me. Either i can wait for her or she can give me a call. So, let me get this straight. I had to come in for another appointment after month long wait and get allergy tested by medical assistant, then told doctor is not ready to see me on scheduled appointment time. I was told by dr Karen at first visit that she needs to be there for testing. If Dr karen isnu2019t going to see her patient on time, then why bother.nnI bet you, if i come late, or no show to my appointment, I would get charge late fee or something.nnMy opinion - if you do not have time for your patients or cannot see them on their appointment time then do not schedule them too see you. please stop making your patient angry and frustrated with this kind of poor professionalism. Unless, you as a doctor donu2019t care what patient feel then i get it. Not sure how much Endeavor Health can help fix issues like this.

I went at 11:30 for medical help. Apparently they were not taking anymore patients for the day. They were full with the 4 other patients in the waiting room. The customer service rep wanted to know if I had an appointment, although their websites says they take walk ins. Proceeded to give me a mask and tell me ALL the other urgent cares are full as well. Not true, Lake Forest acute care was open and took me in immediately for care. They were closing earlier than lake bluff but seem to have a different attitude to seeing patients. Big fat 0 for Lake Bluff, but thanks for the mask. Our healthcare system is broken. By the way, my drs office wouldnu2019t see me because I am sick told me to go to urgent care.

I have been in twice over the course of four days and have been receiving no help really. they keep having me go in and spend 25 dollar copay and it just keeps adding up as I have to go in a THIRD time. I really hate writing negative reviews but at this point itu2019s like they want to keep having me pay. I have a double ear infection and they are saying iu2019m required to come in, when itu2019s the exact same pain as my left ear (which I have received medicine for during my 8/20 visit).nnAdditionally, these appointments i went to were literally a day apart and I expressed concerns for an ear infection 8/19 as my sister went in the prior week with the same issues and ended up going to ER at midnight same night for an ear infection.nnI am trying Deerfield today for my third visit (still unhappy about paying 25 dollar copay multiple times over course of LESS THAN A WEEK). I would recommend going to deerfield and not this Lake Bluff location.nnThe only reason itu2019s two stars instead of one is because the nurse that helped me 8/20 was nice. I just wouldnu2019t recommend this place to anyone, sorry.

My mom called 6 times. She was very uncomfortable. They said if she called again they would call the police. I was able to get to her but I live an hour a way. When we arrived at 6pm, they refused to see her without an appointment. Super rude person at front desk. They said they never got my mom's calls because they don't receive any calls. This person did not exhibit any empathy. Terrible place.
