Both my mother and I booked appointments. There was an issue with pulling up my momu2019s Medicare. She was told to call. I recently received health insurance on 4/1 so cards had not arrived. Receptionist didnu2019t make any attempts to have us still see a doctor. Itu2019s urgent care, which means you see patients. Bill us later or say other payment options but not once did we get offered to still see the doctor. Itu2019s as if she had no interest in the fact that we needed to be seen or we wouldnu2019t be at an urgent care! This was our first and last experience. Nice facility poor customer service at the front so I wouldnu2019t know if the doctors themselves were nice. I guess everyone leaving good comments didnu2019t have an insurance issue. I have been to urgent cares in other states health insurance or not and was never not able to be seen or informed of how much the visit would cost. We were also the only individuals waiting, so itu2019s not like there wasnu2019t time to explain this information. All I was told was u201c if you donu2019t have the info we canu2019t see itu201d. So unless urgent cares in Conyers, GA are different Iu2019m not used to being able to leave when you need care.

The front desk and ancillary staff were very friendly and accommodating. I am leaving my one star due to my experience with the provider. My child was just sen there on May 4th. She has been coughing for ten days. A rapid flu and Covid test were performed on her. The provider introduced herself and asked about symptoms. Before examining my child she told me she was going to give her a steroid to dry her up. She did exam my childu2019s ears nose and throat. Her heart and lungs were not auscultated. I asked if my child could be swabbed for a bacterial culture. She said that was not necessary because my child no longer had a fever. She asked what kind of swab was I referring to. I told her a throat culture. She told me that the only type of throat culture they perform is for STDs. I explained to her that in healthcare when someone has a sore throat if their rapid strep is negative that there is usually a culture performed to insure there are no other bacteria present. I even have her an exam like H. influenza. She asked me if I knew what H. Influenza was. I responded and told her I do. Then she asked me if I work in healthcare. I do. She said she would check to see if they did those type of test at the facility if I wanted to subject my child to that type of testing. She returned shortly after and said they did not and gave me my discharge papers and told me if I wanted that type of testing I could take her to her primary care. I feel my suggestions about my childu2019s healthcare ere met with much resistance. I also think itu2019s interesting that an urgent care does not do any type of bacterial testing except for STIs. I will not be returning to that location.

This was the best experience I have ever had with an urgent care. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable about patients who need urgent help. I wish I could have them as my primary care physician. Thanks fr taking care of my eye. I feel so much better right after I got my eye checked. Thank you so much! u2764ufe0f

I came in for an urgent visit for an impacted ear and was fortunate to be seen by Myra Acheson, FNP-BC, and Nurse Christina. From start to finish, the entire teamu2014including the amazing office staffu2014made me feel welcome and well cared for. Christina was especially kind and professional, making the whole experience much easier. With a great sense of humor, she even gave my stubborn ear wax a nameu2014then promptly evicted it like a pro! I truly appreciated her compassionate care and lighthearted approach, which turned an uncomfortable situation into something surprisingly pleasant. Thank you, Christina, and thanks to the whole team for such outstanding care!
