I had a great experience at the clinic. The front desk staff, especially the girl at registration, was incredibly helpful and kind. Dr. Humera is one of the most cooperative and attentive doctors I've met. Every time we visit, she takes the time to truly listen and understand our concerns, and her compassion really shows.nnI'm so happy for the Richmond location u2014 truly a blessing for the community. For individuals and families who donu2019t have insurance, this clinic is a tremendous support system. Theyu2019re doing amazing work, and may Allah swt bless their efforts abundantly. This service is a huge relief for so many of us in the community. Keep up the great work!

!!! Red Alert !!! (Awam Urgent Care Clinic)nnIf youu2019re not a patient from Afghanistan, Pakistan, or India, I strongly recommend avoiding this clinic. Instead, head to the emergency room (ER) and wait there for hours if necessaryu2014it may save you a lot of frustration.nnHereu2019s what happened to me:nI called the clinic before heading over and was informed that they operate on a u201cfirst come, first serveu201d basis. Trusting this, I arrived at the reception desk at 11:00 AM, provided all my information, and was told to have a seat.nnI waited patiently until 1:30 PM, at which point I went to the counter to ask about the delay. To my shock, I discovered that they had forgotten to place my name in the queue. Even worse, I was told I was still behind 8 patients. I decided to wait further, hoping my turn would eventually come.nnHereu2019s the key issue:nu2022tThey are NOT first come, first serve.nu2022tThe receptionists appear to show clear bias and favoritism based on race.nnItu2019s now 2:00 PM, and Iu2019m still waiting. In the meantime, 7u201310 Afghan patients who arrived after me have already seen the doctor. Adding to the frustration, thereu2019s no option to pre-schedule appointments online, so patients are forced to endure this unfair system.nnI hope my experience helps you understand the challenges and blatant discrimination I encountered. Please proceed with caution if you consider visiting this clinic.
